  1. I can sit but very uncomfortably. I just choose not to sit while trooping. I lean some and do take a break if it is longer than 3 hours.
  2. I have an elastic strap from the shoulder strap to the shoulder bell to the bicep.
  3. hobby stores sell Evergreen products for the Styrene plates. Plain .040 is probably the best option. It's usually on it's own display rack that spins and has different styles of plastic for building miniature sets and buildings for train sets.
  4. I get my snaps from Rochford Supply online. I to have found that the posts are a bit long though. I have not found a short version of them like you get at Jo Anns.
  5. i cut mine so that the canvas belt is half way in the 45 degree angle. My belt is 3" wide. -------
  6. Any word on this? Forgot I even asked about it but I would still like to update the post with all the art.
  7. So does this mean I can keep my hero helmet with stunt lenses? See trooper on left side.
  8. Looks like FX with an upgraded FX helmet. I have no idea what names they give the FX stuff now. Maybe FX Lite? I can see the helmet is a lot more rounded on top rather than the old cylinder dome it used to be.
  9. Please tell me that's not Charles Manson in your avatar.
  10. hahahaaaaa... too funny. Those boots don't even look like the same style from ANH. My guess it 6 years later they couldn't find them same as us.
  11. Can we make it so there is no limit to the number of images posted? I know some people might go crazy but I would love to be able to post ALL of the FISD card art at 150px x 210px front and backs all in one post and keep updating once more get produced. As it is now I posted them prior to a change and now I can't even edit the threads without it saying max number of images in post. Just a thought. Would just make life easier.
  12. You are my Obi-Wan in the most Imperial of ways. Thanks a BILLION Lucas.
  13. I hate the way it handles photos that are posted in the threads. I want to see the code so when I quote a previous post I can alter the code but since it shows me the stupid photo instead I can't figure out how to do that. I don't like it. bring back the .
  14. I used 1/8". Does anyone have definative proof of size?
  15. I score it with a #16 exacto blade and it snaps right off. Then a little sanding to clean up the edges, viola. I don't use power tools.
  16. when i fit mine I tried to fit it according to the promo trooper standup. I then made very minor adjustments in order to walk, sit (barely), go up stairs, go down stairs and not cut my man parts in two while walking parades.
  17. I posted photos of the trading cards in the completed cards thread and now when I make a edit to an address it says I have too many photos posted. Did someone reduce the number of photos allowed to be poster per post? Can we raise it back up so I don't have ot go back in and redo every one of those posts?
  18. I have the same thing. I haven't tried to apply it to my system yet. It has the large plug so you need to have a mini adapter to make it work unless you can remove the large plug and wire in a mini. I don't see why it wouldn't work though.
  19. I would say is is fan photograph. With a photoshop filter. Definately not a drawing. With that kind of effect on it there is almost no real way to judge. It could be T/MC, TE2, AP or any other screen derived kit.
  20. they shouldn't judge it based on the shims. There are a number of troopers that must do that to make them fit. I don't think you should have a problem.
  21. Hey Robert. Welcome to the FISD. I am a member of Garrison Carida. We have a great talented staff of advisors that can help with a lot of your question. Stop on by sign of on our boards. http://501stgarrisoncarida.org
  22. Will adding that wide of a strip still let it fit you well? Sometimes you just need a second pair of hands in or to glue them closed.
  23. i used hot glue and I didn't melt my plastic. It all depends on the material your kit is made of.
  24. I think I have EPI on VHS. came with a piece of 35MM film from one of the scenes.
  25. personally I would leave it as is. Looks great.
