  1. The vibe I have been getting is a solid no. The 501st troopers on set and their personal armor will likely be counted as unique, a la "Mr. NoStripes" and will not change the current ANH-S CRL in any way. But undoubtedly the "Rogue One" Stormtrooper CRL will need to be updated with new information learned from the show. I personally think it should become one catchall "Anthology Stormtrooper" CRL that includes Rogue One, Solo, and The Mandalorian suits and their options. We'll see what the DO's have to say once they see it after March. Eh, is what it is. I know some of the guys put their armor away with little plaques on em and aren't wearing them again. I personally don't care - I built the suit to troop in and bring joy to people, and I can't quite afford to build another one at the moment while I'm undergoing cancer treatment, so I'll just keep trooping in mine. For me, this is the way.

  2. TK-92019 Reporting for duty. So proud to finaly reach this goal and be part of this awesome organization. Having a busy life, it has taken me 2,5 years working on my TK to get it finalized. The dream of joining is a lot older then that, so the road has been long. I am in the Outer Rim of Norway, and the foothold for the Empire here is fragile. In my city we are only 4, me included, to uphold the order in this region. Working hard to increase our numbers - in this part of the Nordic Garrison - the great city of Bergen. My wish TK ID was a risk - but i asked for 92019 becuase i had the Episode 9, 2019 premiere as my goal to finish. I made it with just a few days left, and the premiere being my first troop. We had great fun and my armor held up, didnt pinch too much and looked great. Photo of yours truly included. Btw: I have perfect aim!!

  3. The final push............... So after months of surface prep work, adjustments to various pieces and decals added I finally got to a position where I could get fully kitted up to see where / what I needed to adjust before putting in for clearance.... this is how it looked Few minor dressing issues noticed that were easily fixed but apparently this was good for clearance so I requested through my local garrison.... That was it I was finally cleared with a note to paint out the screws on my belt and to make sure the dressing issues were sorted.... Now it was time to get out and troop, pics below are a couple form my first outing.... So i was now cleared but there is more yet to come......I will update the thread next with improvements i made after getting a few troops under my belt in this kit as well as some improvements I am yet to make but have planned......

  6. Here's my First Order Electroprod as seen in TROS. 3D printed and mounted to a 1/2" pvc core. Design by Empire 3D https://empire3d.net/?fbclid=IwAR2bsWv_sZ-aHMfI6tSVhzoZPxXDIqQyyhnIg6BUve4m2YIc5BuFkCtevQ0 Its very straight-forward, and can be printed in less than a week. I also like that with some events cracking down on trooping with blasters this may be acceptable to bring along. Pics in kit to come when the weather gets better...

  7. I made a few for myself in the past, printed on gloss paper then coated with clear paint so it didn't rub off, E6000 glue has kept them nicely in place, I'd say that would be fine on rubber.

  11. Thank you! ( Everyone ) I greatly appreciate the compliments and your feedback. I’m currently working on my Centurion application. I’ve got a few updates that I’ve been working on, construction modifications to make that were requested in my EIB review and a few small repairs to make ( from holiday trooping damage ) I’m trying to get it all put together well and as quickly as I can. I hope to have more photographs to share with everyone soon.

  19. Yeah, it has been a pain. For me the linked pictures would work if I payed their fees, but they are blurred because I don't: But it looks like in this thread the pictures are not linked at all. The best bet would to redo this thread with updated pictures–which would be a lot of work. I loved this thread when I started here; it was the main guide I used to build my kit.

  20. It’s time for the belt boxes. I’m following a Billgram for these of course. I figured I'd try to make these as accurate as I could. And from the front they sit quite nicely. I will still go and add small amounts of glue so the elastic doesn’t move out of place but that’s a later job. That's me up to date as of 30/12/19.

  21. Posted on SCG forums on 29/12/19. A quick test of the thighs, shins and boots for the first time. It’s a mirror shot so everything is backwards of course. I'll need to tinker with the strapping etc. Wish I wasn't this tall. I'm only 6'1" but these kits were designed for a person of a slightly shorter stature! Looks a bit weird without the rest of the armour, belt, boxes etc on. I just didn't want you all seeing me in my undersuit I think things are on track! For the thighs I used wide black elastic and a waist belt but I think I'll go back and put some kind of adjustable strapping in place instead. I fear the elastic will stretch over time and I'll have wonky thighs.

  23. The UK, I believe the heat gear name is the one for the thin stuff that keeps you cool. It’s the cold gear you don’t want as that stuff makes you SWEAT!

  28. Enjoying this thread! You’re a step ahead of me and I’m just going to follow along. I’ll have to agree with you.. if another package shows up at my house I’ll be in trouble. Luckily it’s Christmas time and I pass it along as another gift. However once I spread out all the armor pieces from my delivery, it really set in with her what I was actually getting into. But she thinks it’s probably lots better to be doing this than a number of other activities. That’s a great reference pic on the holster. I ordered Dan’s but don’t have it yet. Nice to see someone took the time to label everything for a visual reference. I also have Darren’s belt, so I’ll be following along! Sent from my iPhone using The Force
