Hello troopers Greg here. I am super excited to be here with the FISD to start my first TK build. I am Boba Fett ROTJ SE and Tie Pilot ANH with the Southern California garrison Orange County squad. I will be building A ANH Stunt TK. Ok my AM armor is on order right now from Dave's Darkside Depot. Everything else has been ordered and coming in. Boots from Imperial. Neck seal and holster from Darmans props. Blaster from HellHounds Props. All the other little things have been ordered as well. I am super excited to get this build going. I will be striving for Centurion Level. I will do a build page as well.2 points

Test fit: I re-attached my hanging boxes to fit the newly trimmed belt. That was my last fix, so now it was time to strip down in the cold garage early this morning for a test fit! Shoulders fit nice and tight to the bridges: Belt fits just over the lower buttons, and the boxes are lined up: Back plate sits higher now, and the trimmed and heat-shaped corners don't overlap (this is hard to take a pic of in armor, using a mirror, as twisting and raising my arm behind me sometimes shifted everything around, but it worked after a few attempts): Looks like it should all be ready for some Centurion submission photos in the next few days!2 points

That is the funniest thing I have read in a long time, Dennis! You really are hardcore, sir, and thank Heaven wives can't Force choke, lol. Screens turned out incredible, so I will be finishing up this afternoon or tomorrow a.m. (Thanksgiving duties await).2 points

Thanks Ardeshir. Can't wait for my armor to arrive and get this TK build going. I have been talking to Justin a lot.2 points

Unbelievable Glen! Thank you for everything you do and for everything you HAVE done for our membership. You have been a staple of this detachment since my first day here. You were amazing back then and are still amazing. I admire your stamina. You don’t ever slow down. Cheers Glen!2 points

Well you guys have really helped me to reach that goal so I want to put it all in to show my appreciation.2 points

Glen is a typing animal. Fantastic job brother, you're an inspiration to every member here2 points

Well deserved. 1000 posts is pretty good. 10,000 means you have been very active on the boards. Yes, some people try to run up their count with a lot of "me too" and "yeah" type posts, but what makes Glen's achievement so special is not only has he hit 20,000 (the 10 tonner), but that his posts are so helpful to everyone all over the board. Glen, we couldn't be more proud of you and also thankful for all you have given to the community. A hearty THANK YOU! for all you've done and continue to do. Daetrin2 points

Thank you all for the kind words, I must also thank our current DL Andrew @Sly11 and our founder Paul @Daetrin who has been a DL on more occasions that I can count, you guys have put up with me and I can be a pain in the neck. Just trying to give back to the forums for all those who have come before me and steered people in the right direction, FISD's mantra is "troopers helping troopers" and that's all I'm trying to do. This past year and a half has been very challenging time for me for medical reasons, I have probably been more active during this time compared to other years but I needed something to keep focus on, sorry if you guys are sick of seeing my flashing profile gif when you click "new content" This is a great community and a family and I hope to be part of it for some time to come2 points

Great work on the EIB updates, a few suggestions before the DO's get here: You appear to have a small amount of paint on the gums Top corners of your kidney are sticking out, perhaps some plastic tabs behind my keep them in alignment with the ab. Also you have different gaps at the top of your thighs between them and your cod. Also different gaps at your wrists, perhaps it is the handplates positioning Your thighs are touching in a few areas, you may want to address these Vocoder paint is a little wobbly on one side A few other photos will no doubt be needed Close up of the sniper plate, front and both sides Close up of the thigh ammo strip connectors/rivets, inside and outside Close up of your side ab/kidney rivets Ear bottom screws Full side photos arms up Close up of the detonator scews/clips Helmet S trim Helmet lens color Full right side of blaster Blaster D ring Good luck with approval1 point

They are pretty darn close, I would suggest leaving them for now and see if the DO's address them in your applications1 point

I would like to ask that you look everything over closely as you’re looking at my armor, save yourself some time and check off all the requirements I need for centurion. I might as well fix everything now cause as soon as you approve me for EIB I’m going to be requesting Centurion level. I’ll follow all the guidelines and requirements of course but like I say as soon as you approve me for EIB I’m going to retake my submission photos for Centurion. I’m just trying to save us both time as I’m sure you’re all busy this time of year also. I’m only asking I don’t mean to sound pushy I’m only thinking why waist your time twice.1 point

Glad I could be of help (and that's the only seeds I'm planting ) Just one thing, I would glue them on the front: These shall be affixed in the front1 point

Nice work trooper, a great build overall, a couple of suggestions before the DO's get here: Your shoulder straps on the back are not quite centered to the backplate, also there is white excess elastic showing Noticed your cocking lever is silver, these are normally black star- Could you also post thigh ammo strip inside connectors, I know the DO's like to see that Good luck with approval although I doubt you will need it.1 point

Looking great Mark, thank you for your EIB app, one of us will be with you shortly. Added to the processing line.1 point

Here it is. Hope this can be useful. Personally what I have done several times to fix this is as follows. A- Remove the mesh from tips . I have used knife, screwdriver and plier. B- look for a strainer with the proper mesh C- Use a permanent marker top and a rubber hammer to give the shape to the mesh. D- Paint the hovi tips inside and rim with white acrylic and cut the mesh with a minimal edge. E- Place the mesh into the tip carefully and reassemble to the helmet.1 point

I am officially approved EIB now, so on to some adjustments for Centurion! Also, I took one of my EIB submission photos and illustrated a vector version of it, so I could make a shirt for trooping (just using one of the custom digital print places, so anyone can order it now, PM if you are curious, but not here to sell shirts). I will probably make stickers with the design but with my TKID, to give to kids, like I have with some of my other costumes.1 point

Some more pics of the helmet as it stands now after sanding and washing. The last pic gives a better idea of the patching that I had to do. Some of these spots were razor thin. I also drilled out holes where the ear caps and the oxygen mask connector pieces go. I used Ukswrath's complete audio solution in my R1TK, and ideally, I would do the same for this costume but with modified mic tips.1 point

Thanks a lot, I'm happy to pass EI! I'll take all advices I can get, so one time I fixed all the little points I'll apply for Centurion. I already started cutting out the arms, trimming the thighs and re-work the blaster. As I read the crl and totally understood it, I really don't know how this mistake with the belt could have happened, but I'll fit that! Chreers, Alex1 point
