  3. Hi Jake. Welcome. Very excited to see your costume. Congratulations
  4. Welcome. Looking forward to following your build. Have you considered building for level 3 instead of 2?
  5. Welcome Piotr
  6. Hi Alexander. Tino is correct in saying that the death trooper builds are under the Spec Ops Detachment. Myself and the other costume advisors over there would be happy to help you with your build. So far, your helmet is looking good
  7. Congratulations Greg. Looking great.
  8. Hi Eric, CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Centurion. Great job on the requested changes. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions.
  9. Hi Kaden, and thank you for your Centurion application! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Centurion. The arm gaskets look much better with the modifications you made. Congratulations!
  10. Great job. We will take a look over everything and be with you ASAP
  11. Hi Eric @0megaRed Great to see your centurion application. Before going ahead with the approval however, we are going to need a few minor modifications. Your shoulder bells are sitting a bit off from your shoulder bridges. We would like to see this gap reduced to almost nothing. It appears that your shoulder elastic (the white one under the bridge) is being pulled out some by the shoulder bell. I had the same issue with mine and solved it by adding some velcro between the shoulder bridge and elastic. This may correct the gap. If it does not however, then a slightly shorter elastic between the shoulder bell and shoulder bridge, or moving the snap on the shoulder bridge elastic in will correct the problem. References On your left thigh, the cover strip is a bit longer than the one on your right and covers the raised area at the top of the shin slightly. A quick trim off of the top of the left cover strip to match the right one will make the costume look even better. References One final suggestion is with your under suit. It appears to be gathering and bunching in the arms a fair bit. ideally this should be tightly fitting and smooth. It may be as simple as pulling the arms down from the wrists once the arm armour is in place, or possibly going down a size (my under suit is 2 sizes smaller than what I would normally wear to get it skin tight). 12. Hi Kaden, @Surgtech Thanks for getting all of those requested photos. Your armour is truly a work of art but as pointed out in your EIB review, we want to see the gaskets on the arms fit a bit better. This may be as simple as placing some padding inside, or pulling them tighter to prevent them from buckling. Alternatively, they may need to be trimmed down slightly to get a more screen accurate look. References
  13. Hi Eric, Thank you for your application. I have put you in the queue and will be with you as soon as possible.
  14. Hi Kaden. I will be doing your centurion application review. I am going to need some more photos to move forward with the review. Although many of the photos requested are in your EIB review, we need a full set again for the centurion application. In addition, the resolution of the photos is a bit low, which is making it hard to see the details clearly, as well as the background being patterned ( I love the T K carpet but it makes it very difficult to see details as it blends with the chrome costume). Could you please add the following high resolution photos? helmet viewed from all 4 sides and one showing the lens being back lit to demonstrate the colour. a photo of the neck seal close up views of the thermal detonator close up view of the bicep showing the details of the clip and seam photos of the forearms showing the clasp greeblies, ridged rail and box details close up of the gloves and hand plates close up of the abdomen section a photo of the belt Close up of the thighs (both) showing the inner and outer sides photos of the cape showing the pockets and straps as outlined in the CRL as well as a full body rear view with the cape on a photo of the blaster from the left side. Thanks

Everything is looking normal for me.
  16. Welcome to the FISD. Looking forward to following your TK journey.
  17. Awesome work so far. Very innovative techniques for supporting pieces and I love the sanding box. Great idea.
  18. Stickers are fine, as long as they are not peeling up at the edges. If you can’t get them to stick down, then it is a pretty easy paint job.
  19. Looking forward to seeing your EIB application
  20. Looks great. If you want to try and sharpen the edges, you can use a toothpick and carefully scratch away the paint along the edge to get a nice clean line. Also, for the black bars, not sure if it is just the photo, but it looks like they may be stickers that are lifting off a bit at the bottom?
  21. Congratulations Chris. Looking forward to another great year
  22. Hi Tony. Welcome to FISD.
