Congratulations. Cant wait to see some troop photos.

Hi Maria, Welcome to the FISD, you have come to the right place for help. The approval will be completely up to your local GML. Seam lines under cover strips are not seen, so should not be an issue , it is more the exposed return edges that will need to be straight. As Glen mentioned, a build thread will be a great help for you and for us to help you get to the finish line.

Hi Colin, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor, and please keep in mind that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions. Helmet Although this will not affect your approval at any level, the line of the screws securing the ears should follow the line of the rear of the trap above the ear. CRL L2: Ideally, placement of ears (and screws) should closely follow the rear angle of the trap above them References Your brow is positioned in a position more in line with the Hero helmets. The stunt helmets had the brow sitting a bit higher above the eyes. References Shoulder Armour Your left shoulder is sitting a bit farther away from the shoulder strap than the right one. Ideally, they should be the same distance apart. References Biceps and Forearms Your left biceps and forearm armour pieces are sitting a bit low compared to the right. A slight adjustment to strapping should be made to ensure that the left and right sides are sitting evenly. References Lower Leg Armour Keep an eye on the alignment of the closure of your lower leg armour when dressing, It is always a good idea to get someone to check all of the alignments once fully dressed as it is hard to visualize yourself once in costume. References *************************************************** Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Shoulder straps Your elastic holding down the shoulder straps is sitting in the middle of the shoulder strap. It should be moved back to the second or 3rd notch from the back to be more screen accurate. CRL L3: The plastic shoulder straps need to be held down in the back via a white elastic band to the white fabric that connects/bridges the chest and back piece. References Shoulder Armour For centurion level, you should bring your shoulder bells in closer to the shoulder straps. This should be a simple strapping adjustment. CRL L3: There should be a minimal gap between the shoulder armor and the chest/back plates. References Belt The corners of the ABS belt are trimmed on the proper 45 degree angle, but the corners of the trim should align with the edge of the canvas belt. This is a simple fix on the line shown below to align the 2 belt pieces properly. CRL L3: The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt. References Your belt should also come up slightly for Level 3 approval. The top portion of the ABS belt should sit just above or right at the bottom of the lowest button on the central abdominal panel. A bit of velcro between the belt and abdominal plate can be used to hold the belt in place. CRL L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. References The drop boxes should sit just below the ABS belt, yours are just a few mm too high and should be dropped a bit (especially on the left side), so they sit just below the ABS belt with no overlap. You may need to slightly lengthen your elastics suspending the belt boxes to achieve this. A drop of E6000 on the elastic holding the drop box is also a great way to keep it in place. CRL L3: Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. References Thigh Armour You will need to add a small bit of ABS paste or White Sugru to the small gaps in the back of the thigh pieces to hide the gap for Level 3 approval. CRL L3: Lower thigh ridge joins (front and rear) shall butt-up flush against each other. Any gaps must be backed with ABS or filled as not to be noticeable. References Blaster Your blaster looks great but the wires running between the Hengstler counter and the power cylinders are a bit too excessive. Very few blasters actually had the wires on them and when they were present, they were much less dense. This can be corrected by removing some or all of the wire to be more screen accurate. TK-30874 Requesting [ANH Stunt] EIB Status (AP) 1086
Doggydoc replied to 0megaRed's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Congratulations again Eric, With respect to your Hovi Tips, here is a post I just put up outlining an easy way to fix them. -
Hey everyone. I figured I would post this as it has recently come up on the Deployment Officer discussions. With respect to the Hovi tips that are supplied with the AP props kit, the front ring is a little bit thicker than optimum. Having an AP kit myself which I absolutely love, I figured I would look into a method to make them a bit more screen accurate. Please not that we have decided that at this time, this modification will be requested for level 3 approval. Here is the original AP Hovi tip- Note the wide front portion as compared to screen references. References To correct this, I used my Dremel tool with the grinding tip pictured below. Using the mesh as a floor to keep the grinding attachment steady and at a right angle to the wall, it was just a matter of carefully running the edge of the grinder around the inner ring of the Hovi Tip front ridge. Completed result with less than 10 minutes of work

TK-30874 Requesting [ANH Stunt] EIB Status (AP) 1086

Hi Eric, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! You have done a great job on correcting the required modifications for EIB but also have made several of the corrections towards your Centurion Approval. Hopefully we see this application very soon. Helmet The screws attaching the ears, should align with the rear edge of the trap above them. Although this will not affect your level 3 approval, it will increase the screen accuracy of your helmet. Your left ear appears to be sitting a bit too far back and could come forward a bit as well. CRL L3: Ideally, placement of ears (and screws) should closely follow the rear angle of the trap above them References Back Plate Reducing the gap between your back plate and kidney plates would give a better overall look to your armour. This should be a simple strapping modification. References Belt Your belt appears to be sitting on a slight angle, for the best look, it should be straightened. References A slight trimming at the top of your coverstrips on the front of your thigh armour will prevent them from sticking into you when walking. This will make your troops more comfortable. Your blaster appears to be missing the bolt that is present in the base of the grip. If this is the case, replacing it would improve screen accuracy. Helmet Your tube stripes are a nit too far away from the cheek. We will need you to move them in a bit, if they are decals, sometimes they may be carefully lifted and a new set may not be required. CRL L2: Ideally, the tube stripes are positioned approximately a pencil width from the side of the cheek. References The AP hovi tips have a wider ring around the front than what was seen on screen, For centurion, we would like to see these corrected for better screen accuracy. This can be achieved by carefully dremelling out the inner portion of the ring. References Forearms Your forearms are a bit too wide for your arms. They should be reduced in size slightly for a better fit for level 3. References Abdomen Armour You have a bit of a gap on the left side of your abdomen / kidney connection and a slight overlap on the right side. There should just be a single visible seam with minimal to no gap. This may just be a simple dressing issue or may require a bit of modifications to the strapping. CRL L3: Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top. References Belt There are a couple of easy fixes for your belt for level 3 requirements. The belt should sit with the top of the ABS portion just above the bottom of the lowest button on the large ab button panel. This can easily be achieved with a bit of velcro between the belt and the abdominal armour to hold the belt up. CRL L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. References You have done a great job adjusting the position of your belt boxes, to line them up with the vertical edge of the ABS belt. The drop boxes should sit just below the ABS belt, yours are just a few mm too high and should be dropped a bit (especially on the left side), so they sit just below the ABS belt with no overlap. A drop of E6000 on the elastic holding the drop box is a great way to keep it in place. CRL L3: Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. TK-30874 Requesting [ANH Stunt] EIB Status (AP) 1086
Doggydoc replied to 0megaRed's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hi Eric, Thank you for your EIB application. Your armour is looking great and I must comment that I think you have the cleanest paint job on your ab buttons that I have seen to date. Before approving you for EIB, we are going to need a few fixes to your kit. Lets start at the top and work our way down. We will also need a bit of white paint on the tip of your Hovi - Mix Aerators. This should be a pretty quick fix with a few minutes of painting. CRL L2: Correct Aerators/Hovi-MIX tips are present. Screens used shall be of a wide type mesh, with the rim of the mic and the inside white or painted white. References Shoulder armour / Biceps Your shoulder armour strap looks to be a bit loose I suspect this may be due to the biceps armour piece sitting too low. The shoulder strap should wrap around the body of the biceps. For a better overall look, we will ask to bring your biceps and forearms up a bit to provide symmetrical gaps between the biceps and forearm and the forearm and hand plate. This will likely just require some minor modifications to your strapping. References Hand Plates Your hand plates do not appear to be completely attached to the gloves. They should not be lifting as seen on your application photos but instead should be completely attached on all sides. A few minutes with some adhesive should easily correct this. Basic CRL: Roughly pentagonal in shape, the hand plates are mounted securely over the back of the glove. As an alternative to plastic, these may be made out of latex or latex-like material. References Thermal Detonator The control panel detail on your thermal detonator is a bit too high. The circle portion and raised rectangular sections should face to the back and not up. This can be corrected by carefully opening up the curl of the bracket to allow the detonator to roll down a bit, allowing the panel to face more to the back. Basic CRL: The white control panel raised ribbed pad faces the rear, with the controls/round washer style detail closest to the right end cap. References Shins When dressing, ensure that both shins are sitting evenly, your left shin is sitting a bit high. This can be fixed with a bit of velcro between the bottom of the shin and the tongue of the boot. References -

Hi Justin, and thank you for your EIB application! When kitting up, make sure to pay attention to where your belt is sitting to ensure that it is covering the lower tabs of the abdomen. References With respect to your under suit, there are areas where it is appearing to be wrinkled. A tighter fit would improve the screen accuracy. References Your blaster looks great but there are a few details seen on the screen used ones that you may want to add. On the right side of the blaster, there are some white line details. Reference On the left side of the blaster, the mounting plate details should be silver. Reference The sight at the front of the barrel should also be silver Reference *************************************************** Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for our highest tier of approval. Because Centurion photos must show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Level 3 might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we are able to clearly see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. For Centurion Approval, we would need to have the fabric elbow and knee gaskets changed out for rubber ones. CRL L3: Gaskets shall be made of rubber. Fabric gaskets are not acceptable.

TK-10792 requesting ANH Stunt EIB Status (WTF)
Doggydoc replied to Brent Seymour's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Hi Brent, Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your EIB application. Your armour looks great but there are a few things we are going to need to be fixed to get it to EIB level approval. Lets start at the top and work our way down. Please feel free to reach out or ask questions if you need to. Everyone is here to help and wants to see you succeed. Helmet Your helmet looks great, but we are going to ask for an adjustment to your vocoder paint job to make it look more screen accurate. This should be a pretty quick and easy fix. References Shoulder straps Your shoulder straps appear to be uneven when viewed from behind and from the side, the right side has the proper curve to allow it to sit flat on the back armour plate but the left side is a bit too straight. A bit of time with a hot water bath will help to curve the left side to match the right side. References You may also consider trimming all or a portion of the large tabs off the back of the shoulder straps. This is not mentioned in the CRL but is highly recommended for a more screen accurate look. References Posterior Armour Your posterior armour is dropping away from the kidney armour in the front corners and is flaring out at the sides. We would like to see it hug your body a bit closer and follow the line of the back armour. Some strapping in the area shown below should correct the issue . A bit of a warm water bath may also be needed if the kidney armour needs some shaping. References Many troopers have opted for V tabs to help hold the alignment between the posterior and kidney armour pieces. Thermal Detonator Your thermal detonator control panel is facing a bit too much upward instead of to the back. This can be corrected by carefully unrolling the lower portion of the clips to roll the thermal detonator down. CRL L1: The white control panel raised ribbed pad faces the rear, with the controls/round washer style detail closest to the right end cap. References We will also need you to make some size adjustments to your thermal detonator as the overall length as well as the length of the control panel are about 2 cm too long. You can achieve this by carefully removing the control panel and trimming it in the area shown to remove about 20 mm. For the overall length, if you remove the end cap on the side opposite the circle detail on the control panel and trim the grey pipe back about 20 mm, this should allow the end cap to now cover the hole in the pipe from the bracket and make the detonator the correct size. Lower leg armour CRL L1: The total length is approximately 7.50" (190.5mm), End caps are approximately .78" (20mm)in width. References The screw type attaching your clip to the thermal detonator are not the correct type and should be changed for the correct ones. References Lower leg armour Your shins are closed in the back with the inside portion overlapping the outside. This should be reversed as mentioned above by @gmrhodes13 References For your Sniper knee plate, the edges along the back portion should be angled and not curved for a more screen accurate look. This should be a fairly easy trimming job. References Blaster Your blaster details look great but unfortunately there are still some print lines visible. We will need you to do a bit of sanding and refinishing before approving you for EIB. CRL L2: 3-D printed blasters can not contain visible print lines, and must be sanded smooth for a more realistic appearance. Your magazine is a bit longer than those seen on screen. Removing the end plate and trimming it back, should correct the issue. For 3D print files, the files on thingiverse and printables created by Bryan Roller have a shortened version of the magazine that can be printed. In addition, it appears that your Hengstler counter is positione a bit low as it appears to be touching the rail of the folding stock. References -

Hi Brent @Brent Seymour, Thank you for embedding the photos, it makes things alot easier for reviewing but also as future reference for other troopers. Before going ahead, could you please add the following photos for me? 1. Close up of the wrist side openings of the fore arms. Like the photo below 2. A photo showing the flexibility of the hand plates like the one below 3. A close up of your abdominal armour button plates. 4. A close up of the ab and kidney rivets. 5. A photo showing the measurements of your thermal detonator as mentioned by @gmrhodes13 above
