  1. Congratulations Trooper !! Welcome to the Legion, Enjoy being a Bad Guy Doing Good and Stay Safe . Looking Great !!
  2. Hi Shawn, Helmet assembly is really tricky, it's not my favorite part of the building . About your concern of the ear screws alignment, when in a EIB review we suggest that "ideally the angle of the ears should be lined up to where the screws line up closely with the angle of the rear of the trap above them" but it's not a Level3 blocker. Mine is an Anovos Helmet and it has the screws alignment like yours pre-assembled and It's difficult as you said to make the change. I would like to make the change to my helmet in a future or replace it. So don't worry. by the other side , In my opinion your brow height is just right for ANH. take look to the reference images : I would like to see a close photo of the teeth section, vocoder and hovi mix tips if you don't mind to add some. keep it up trooper !!
  3. Wow Fernando gran sorpresa ver tu aplicación a Centurion !! Excelente!! Muchas gracias . Wow Fernando, What a great surprise to see you centurion request !! Excellent ! Just one requirement please: I could be the light or distance but I could not see the elastic strap that connects the shoulder bridges with the fabric strap that connects the chest armor with the back?. 5mm. white elastic strip. Can you please add a close photo ? Gracias. Uno de nosotros estará contigo en breve. Thank you, one of us will be with you Shortly.
  4. That's the attitude Trooper !! Great to read this new. Your Centurion Badge is waiting for you Sir. !!!
  5. looking good Anthony, what I can see that you would need to take care of is the shoulder bridges. I think with a hot water bath they can bend down a bit to fit better over the back plate . Reference Images Cheers
  6. Thanks Scott, don't worry about it, enjoy with the kids . We'll be here ready to serve. Cheers.
  7. Hola Leonardo, Excelente Armadura !! Buena suerte . Trooper Hi Leonardo, Great Armor !! Mean while one of us in the D.O team is assigned to your application, Just a couple of details: 1- Could you please add a close photo of the Chest/Back connection 2- Close photo of the Sniper Knee both sides 3- Make the fix to the shins closing as Glen pointed before. Good Luck Trooper!
  8. Hi mate, those forearms looks great. If I can make a suggestion, you can trim or sand a bit the lower section of your wrist , Reference Images Keep on doing a great work !!
  9. Hi Scott, thank you for your fast photos update. We are almost ready to move along with your EIB application, but additional to the requested fix to the Hovi mix Tips, we need you to make the following small fix. As per the CRL for Basic approval, the paint "...does not leave the teeth area". A small bottle of Goo-Gone, some toothpicks and some cotton swabs would clean up those areas perfectly . (The blue arrow points to one that looks good) Reference Images Thank you mate.
  10. Welcome to FISD. good luck with your project and looking forward for your photos.
  11. Hi Adam, This is definitely a "So stranger thing" , I was going to suggest Super glue too as the last resource and let it dry ,clamped, at least 24 hours. Good luck Trooper

  13. Hi Roxanne, welcome to FISD. Glad to read you have started make your dream come true. and Yes, at the beginnig it looks terrifying but if you take care , "measure twice or more, read the crl carefully, look at the reference photos and glue just once" , you will enjoy the process . Looking forward for your BBB day and Build Thread ! Good Luck
  14. Hi Andy, You can just update this thread and add the additional photos requested in the list sent by @justjoseph63. Almost there trooper!!
  15. Hi Scott, thank you your EIB submission. In order to start your review and while you add the required photos sent by joseph, I will need you to make a small ( five minutes ) adjustment to your helmet. As per the Crl States for L2: Correct Aerators/Hovi-MIX tips are present. Screens used shall be of a wide type mesh, with the rim of the mic and the inside white or painted white. We'll asking to add some white paint to your Hovi mix rim. esay fix ! Reference Images Cheers.
  16. HI, I'm not sure but I think I saw your post of the ebay helmet. If it's the one I think, the main issue was not the two parts, it was that they were selling just the plastic pieces but did not included the additional components to build the helmet correctly. Most of the vetted sellers here sell the Helmet kit but they include all the pieces you need for a complete build. Also you can ask them if they can built it for you for adittional cost. Hope this can help. Cheers
  17. Congratulations Trooper , Welcome to EIB. Centurion next, Why not?
  18. Toma tu tiempo para preparar tu armadura, estaremos aqui cuando estés listo. Saludos Take your time for the fixes, we'll be here for your Centurión submission. Cheers
  19. Felicitaciones Sergio , Bienvenido a Exp de Infantería.!!!! Congratulations Sergio, Welcome to EIB. ranks. !!!!!
  20. What I have seen is that just adjusting ab/kidney and problem solved. Measure twice, cut once. Looking forward for your trim lines Trooper.
  21. Hi James, Thnk you for your EIB submission , while you post the additional photos, I 'll need you to make a couple of easy fixes prior to start you review.: 1-As per the Crl State for Level 2: Correct Aerators/Hovi-MIX tips are present. Screens used shall be of a wide type mesh, with the rim of the mic and the inside white or painted white. It will be needed to add some white paint to your Hovi mix tips , just a few minutes and you're ready. Reference Photos 2- Crl States for L2: Any gap between the abdomen and kidney armor is no more than 1/2" (12.5mm) wide Your Ab/Kidney connection lower section looks fine, but it looks like by tightening or shortening the superior section straps and this could solve the issue. Reference Images Thanks Trooper !
  22. Hi Alex, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armour. Let's start from top. The brow trim of your helmet, as you can see in the reference photos, should be a bit shorter, this is a very easy and fast adjustment, just be careful to do it little by little so as not to cut too much. Reference Images For a better look and confort, we are suggesting a bit trimming down the marked lines at the top of your forearms . This will not only make you look better, but it will help keep it from snagging on your under-suit and poking into you. Reference Images We are suggesting that you reduce the size of your small ab-button plate a tad. AP makes the buttons a little wider than was seen onscreen, but this can be done and still maintain the look. Also, the edges should be square and not rounded off. Reference Images *************************************************** Centurion Requirements; In this section we prepare you for Centurion. Because Centurion photos show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Let's start Alex CRL: There should be a minimal gap between the shoulder armor and the chest/back plates. As the CRL states for level 3 , there should be minimal space between the shoulder bells and the chest armor. (Although not specifically mentioned), the tops of the shoulder bells should touch (or be very close to) the shoulder bridges. In your case it seems that it is a matter of shortening the elastics of the connection between these. Also, you can trim all the return edges from the bottoms of the Shoulder Bells to have more room. Reference Images CRL: Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top. Your Left Ab/Kidney connections looks perfect, but It looks like your right side is overlapping, perhaps loosen the belt a little or add some foam behind the ab/kidney to hold them outwards Reference Images CRL: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels. Your belt needs to go up a little to be perfect, a widely used trick is to place a couple of small strips of Velcro behind belt to ensure it doesn't sag in the front, easy fix ! Reference Images \ CRL: Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box. This is one of the most common issues we see, but is quite simple to address. Some E-6000 on the inside strap will take care of this. Reference Images Your Thermal Detonator control pad sits very high and It needs to be a bit lower so that the controls/round washer can be seen . Reference Images Reference Images Finally , the gaps in the lower ridges as seen below will need to be filled. A small ABS shims behind them would do the trick, but remember that the top of the ridge is curved so keep that in mind. Reference Images Again , Congratulations and I'm sure you can deal with the fixes and go for the next level. CENTURION ***************************************************
