  2. Hi Piers welcome to FISD. good luck and let us know if you need help!!
  3. Probably It would be ok for Basic depending on your GML. For EIB an elastic strap over the palm is allowed if wearing rubber gloves. Hand Plates These shall be clam shell, or snowtrooper-style hand plates and not the trapezoidal design seen in A New Hope. The hand plates shall be mounted securely over the back of the glove. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): If rubber gloves are worn the hand plates are affixed via an elastic strap over the palm. If silk or satin gloves are worn, the hand plates have the correct visible stitching pattern using black cotton, with a five point/star pattern, equally spread out with 2 on each side and 1 in the middle front, and needs to be double stitched at each point.
  4. Hello Daniel, welcome to FISD. take a look to the links Glen pointed and let us know if you need some help.
  5. AB BOXES TRIMMING AND ASSEMBLY Because I considered I'm not so skilled in shaping those small boxes , I Found this Contour Gauge. Make the up and down contours Marked to the box sides. Sanding a bit and fit the box. Repeat the process with all the boxes. ASSEMBLY USING CHICAGO SCREWS Apply Epoxi Glue And so on for all the boxes. Marked the place for the screw using the box and drill the hole. In some boxes I have used some washers or plastic squared to fit better Return to Index

  7. May be this can help. It's a tip I think I saw somewhere here in the forum and made my own version. With Anovos Hovi mic tips I have removed the mesh with a knife, screwdriver and plier I have used a marker cap and a rubber hammer
  8. Hi Joe, you're doing a great work with your armor! . about the shoulder bridges, you can trim the the larger rib just to the edge, screen used armors had the larger tab in the front and none in the back. Reference Images
  9. Cool, painting is not my strong suit but it enjoy and looking forward for your progress
  10. Hi Paul. If they fit you correctly and have no more space to allow trimming, you can leave them as it, they should be ok.
  11. Hi Rob, those handguards looks great !! About the TD, if I can make a suggestion. consider the allocation of the TD panel in such way that the rounded washer detail looks more to the front than upwards . I suggest to trim a bit the bottom section to allow the panel rotation to the front. Reference Images We are here to help.
