  1. Hi Richard, Just in case, If I can make a suggestion for "Plan C", If you used E6000 to glue the TD panel, You could take the panel off , trim a bit the edge, as the image below and rotate it to the new position . This is what I did with a recent RWA Armor I built . Reference Images
  2. Great start. BTW ears are a nightmare , but not impossible.
  3. Congratulations Trooper, Welcome to the Legion !! Enjoy being a "Bad Guy Doing Good" hope to see your Higher levels application soon, you have a great set of armor !!
  4. I would recommend to make a test of the armor (you can use painters tape to get the Ab, kidney rear plate together an see how it looks before any cut.
  5. hi James, and welcome to FISD. Please take a look to this Building thread, page 10 has a solution for that same issue. If you need more assistance don't hesitate in ask here or you can open your own building thread into the section HERE to receive feedback and help in every step on the way.

  7. Hi Cody, great to see your EIB app. Meanwhile one of us is assigned to your review , we need you add some additional photos as follows: 1- An additional photo of your TD showing the screws, something like the example below.: 2-Close photo of the lower section of the cod and butt plate to see the rivets as per the crl states for L2: A split (bifurcated) or single cap rivet is present on the lower tab (cod area) of the abdomen armor. Two male snaps are present on the lower center tab of the Posterior Armor. 3-Close photo of your thigh ammo belt (inside and outside) to see the rivets type and position : CRL: Thigh ammo belt is attached to thigh with a solid head rivet, painted white, in the upper corner and fastened to the lower thigh ridge 4-Close photo of your Sniper Knee right and left side . 5- And finally photo of your boots. Thanks Trooper !! If needed, you can check the photo checklist Here.

  9. Hi, I'm in the same ship building a KB FOTK, looking forward for your advances Good Luck.
  10. Thank you Tony, One positive thing of E6000 is that , if necessary you can remove it carefully , and relocate, adjust or replace the piece and glue type. . Let see how it works.
  11. QUESTION ********** QUESTION Please confirm if I'm right : Small Clip Greeblies: Biceps and Forearms Large Clip Greeblies: Thigs, Shins and Spats Thank You Return to Index
  12. BACK/CHEST SECTION ASSEMBLY NOTE: I used E6000 Glue but it was recommended by fellow troopers to use an Epoxi Glue. I'll use it to the AB section Assembly . Next Step : Applying ABS paste and Sand day and night Finished Return to Index
  13. BICEPS ASSEMBLY 24-48 Hours Later Next will be to apply ABS paste to fill the seam , Sanding and Polish. Finished Return to Index
  14. The hot water method is a bit slow pace, you need to repeat the process again and again. Personally I prefer the "Ninja Style" using a Heat Gun but It needs to be done carefully because the piece can be damage. You could make a test with a scrap piece too. AGAIN: BE CAREFULL
  15. Hi, I have updated my first post adding the photo requested.
  16. Welcome to FISD. We are here to Help. If you can, open a Build Thread Here , post tons of photos , they speak more than words . Good luck
  17. Almost boiling and take care on not let the piece too much time into the water to avoid melting. Perhaps you can make a test first with a scrap piece.
  18. Hi Jeff. Looking at your photo, it looks like the Back plate could be reshaped a bit to fit more comfortable, how this could be done? What I have done to fix this is to apply a "Hot water bath" to the section marked in the photo bellow and bend it upwards to give it a better shape. Doing this , all the rest get in place nicely . Good luck and looking forward for your advances. Reference Image
  19. Hi Chris, Welcome to FISD, the very home of the shiny white. Have you read this forum section yet? also you may want to check this Post Compilation that can be so helpful. Feel free to browse the forum and don't hesitate in asking any question you have. We are here to help.
  20. Not at all but it would depend on your GML , I think you could try to get an intermediate level, moving the thighs and even the shins just a little . or wait for your GML comments.
  21. Amazing looking Richard!! great work. Easy basic pass!! Just a simple dressing detail to consider : You my want to rotate your thighs inward to reduce the Cod/thighs gap a little, as you did in the first photo you posted.
  22. Hi Andrew, I'll take the photo this weekend, even though I have glued the Torso section and biceps already, all the remaining pieces are unassembled
  23. Hi Joe, you're on the right path mate! You may want to check the center lower tooth paint, with just a bit excess. Using some non Acetone remover on a toothpick could make the deal. Reference Images Keep on doing a great work !!!
