  1. Joseph, belts on the new kits are unassembled which is a plus IMO. Also, for accuracy you can use cap rivets to attach the belt armor to the canvas portion.
  2. Some people have had issues with snap plates, E6000 and a bump/deformation on the outside of the armor. I would use nylon webbing to attach the snaps if that concerns you, as that does seem to have a less noticeable/no bump from what I have seen.
  3. You may still be able to build your armor to 591st standards (and beyond), post photos when your kit arrives and we will do our best. Lessons learned.
  4. Congratulations Darren. Don't forget to apply for TK status here as you're missing a bunch of forums: You may want to consider applying for Expert Infantry and Centurion as well - as a UKG member you've likely already met most of the requirements.
  5. Welcome to the Legion!
  6. A few friends have used them, much better visibility than the stock Anovos ones but you do have to cut them down quite a bit. I’d pick up their aluminum aerator tip while you are at it too if it were me.
  7. That would be great. Randy, Bolt Depot/McMaster Carr/etc. are probably the way to go until then.
  8. Same here. When I remember to charge it.
  9. Unless you are building a FO or R1TK, in which case you do in fact want T7’s.
  10. I had to do several hot water baths to get my shins to line up properly. Good luck.
  11. If you are aiming for Centurion and tightening the belt does not fully close the gap, you will need to shim (or trim down yourself!). If you kit did not come with extra plastic you will need to source a sheet or two of white ABS.
  12. I think the original suits used cap rivets anyway, but yes you don’t have to use pop rivets.
  13. That is the highest resolution logo we have available for personal use at the moment.
  14. Mine don’t have any, if you look through the Centurion request threads you will see plenty of us shorter guys don’t.
  15. Bastian, Take a look here, there is a logo in the signature pack: Cheers.
  16. The Anovos-supplied velcro is garbage. Throw it away. ...and to echo what others have said - Line 24 snaps is a far better strapping solution than velcro. The ONLY places I have velcro on my kit is on the chest so I can suit up by myself, and inside the helmet to mount padding and electronics. The downside of velcro is since it is repositionable, you may have to tweak strapping every time. With snaps, once you get it dialed in you know you're good to go.
  17. Jeff, Fantastic that your are thinking about EIB and Centurion. In my experience it is FAR easier to build with Centurion in mind that not - go for it! I do not (as of now) see anything major keeping you from getting the higher approval levels, but more photos would be great - refer to the CRL and anything you are unsure, post photos.
  18. Depending on where it is reinforcement may be okay, if it is really visible or long some ABS paste may be needed too, a picture helps us help you though.
  19. Congrats and good luck on your first troop!
  20. I see your topic listed as well as your photos. Try refreshing the browser. Are you using Tapatalk?
  21. Yes please clarify, there is a signaute pack in the detachment section that may have what you need?
  22. Right thigh looks rotated inward slightly, as Glen said some strapping adjustments solve a lot of “problems”. Also, I hope you are test fitting those shins with your boots on?
  23. You should be able to buy it all online (McMaster Carr etc.). R2Dan sells the hardware here on FISD as well, but I’m not sure if he offers it seperately.
