  1. Try searching "face shield replacement lens"
  2. The left bicep and left shin are a bit oddly shaped too so you may need to shape those as well. I would say the thighs aren't the biggest too so be sure to size before you trim.
  3. I would not add return edges at the bottom of the shins. They will push up even more. No requirements for a return edge at the top of the thigh. Might make things less comfortable. Ultimately your call. Heat sealing iron will indeed work if you do need to recreate a return edge.
  4. Can you clarify what you mean by "stents cut?"
  5. Congrats on achieving Centurion!
  6. Congrats on achieving Centurion!
  7. I did score and snap with ATA. Agreed with Tony's tip - use the edge of a table for leverage!
  8. Hi there, where are you located in Canada? You should join your appropriate garrison's forums if you haven't yet. There could be armour parties in your area that could be very useful. Think everyone has answered most of your questions. Regarding the S-trim, I have looked at a lot of places with no luck. If there is an auto parts shop (Princess Auto here) then you may have luck finding something. Oh, and one small tip for when you put those tube stripes on: they should "lean" towards the front of the helmet, not towards the ears, and they should sit a pencil's width away from the cheeks.
  9. Ensure that your shins are as far down as they'll go on your boots. If you need to trim, there are a few options. Cut-outs in the back of the thigh and shin (don't cut past the ridges though) and you could trim the bottom of the shins or the tops of the thighs is required, but I'd say try to make this work as it is with the cut-outs in the knees. You'll need to see how you do once that sniper knee is on as you might feel the thigh pressing up against it, which could eventually lead to damage. Keep an eye on that.
  10. Looking good! Congrats on your EIB!
  11. Teresa (Geeky Pinks) is in Alberta and she is great to work with! She can make neck seal to your size! Also, S-shape vs. U-shape is indeed referring to the rubber trim that lines the edge of the opening of the helmet.
  12. Reading this, I am guessing that latex, painted, and affixed only apply to ANH style and ESB style hand guards would not have these requirements? If this is the case, I would suggest changing the wording to : If using ANH-style hand guards, they shall be latex or latex-like, painted white, and affixed to rubber gloves. It's a minor placement change but I think it helps to clarify the requirement.
  13. Congrats on obtaining your EIB!
  14. Congrats on your BBB! Now get to work!
  15. You're doing great so far!
  16. Have you considered AM? They make kits for bigger troopers. However, given that you're not super tall, perhaps another vendor would work. Where are you having issues? AP leaves a lot of extra at the ab and kidney connection for sizing.
  17. Easy pass for basic, but I echo the sentiments of others with regards to your mobility! Your sniper knee is particularly over the thigh which will likely cause some issues.
  18. That is the correct e-mail address I used last time I bought something from him. It is possible his inbox is full and will not accept new messages, given that he appears to be behind on his correspondence.
  19. Looking great! My opinion is you should easily pass basic as well! Regarding higher levels, hard to say without all the detailed shots. The one thing I spotted is that on your right side, the top of your kidney and ab are not aligned, so make sure they stay aligned when you submit for EIB/Centurion! Your ear screws are aligning in a very vertical manner too. They usually tilt forward a bit, though not sure if that will be an issue for EIB/Centurion.
  20. Not sure how it could affect EIB/Centurion, but the inside of the mic tips should be white. They look like they are yellow/off-white right now. You can also either paint the rim on the outside white or what others do is sanding the edge to reveal some white underneath, but that would require some black paint on top of white. Vocoder looks like it's painted a little wide near the base. Also watch your cover strips on your left leg staying aligned. Unclear if that's just a dressing thing or if you need to address it with some kind of change. It also looks like your cover strips may be sticking out a little on the biceps, but that may be the photo. Hope that's helpful!
  21. Difficult to say without all the detail photos. From what I can see, you will at least need to raise your ABS belt so that it is touching/overlapping the button plates.
