  1. Yes, curves on the bottom.
  2. Hi Nick and welcome! Good luck on your build. If you have any questions as you progress, let us know! Photos are helpful for us helping you :). Keep us updated on your progress.
  3. Hi Robert, a bit more info and maybe some photos will help us answer your questions, as Jeff mentioned.
  4. There is no restriction on how you join the pieces on the inside, so you can use various scraps of ABS, or a long inner cover strip that matches the outside. Some don't use any inner strips at all.
  5. Congrats on achieving Centurion!
  6. I have a recruit in my garrison who has sent e-mails throughout the last few months but never got a response, unfortunately.
  7. Odd. It's a link to a photo of a ANH Stunt helmet in the Gallery. Based on that, plus the fact that the photo posted is from pretty close, my thoughts are that Daniel's ears are good.
  8. Nice! Congrats on that BBB! Good luck with your build! Post photos and ask questions and we'll help you on your journey to joining the 501st!
  9. Some angle on the ears is fine. Here's some reference:
  10. Agreed, nice painting!
  11. Hello and welcome to the FISD! We're here to help you on your journey to joining the 501st! Post photos and ask questions all you want!
  12. I think this is an easy pass for basic as well! Maybe you could heat your shoulder bridges to curve down a little more or move the elastics even further down? They are not quite following the curve of the back plate in your photos. Think everything else has been covered. Looking good!
  13. Welcome! We recommend you use a photo hosting site for your photos, otherwise you will run out of space here really fast! I use imgur. Good luck with your build!
  14. Congrats on your approval!
  15. Looking great! Good luck!
  16. Good luck Brandon! We're here to help you on your way. Hope that BBB day comes on schedule!
  17. Other options for glues are CA glue and ABS cement. These however are much more permanent and I would only use it if you are 100% sure of what you're doing. Their big advantage is that they cure much faster (CA glue can dry almost instantaneously when you use an accelerant). For a first build, definitely go with E6000!
  18. I would follow the red line. Definitely easier too, as you mentioned!
  19. Bondo is not clear or white and is brittle compared to E-6000. Bondo is used for filling cracks/seams on costumes like clones that then need to be painted over.
  20. I suggest cutting it as well!
