  1. Two months is often seen as pretty quick, congrats on that! Some folks take six months, some take a year, and some experienced builders take days! Regardless, it's always a lot of work!
  2. Tony and Andrew have a bit of a backlog to work through right now, so please be patient! You'll get a heads up of sorts once they get to your application.
  3. I find that my ATA forearm are a bit big too...not so big that I need to put foam in there, but they look proportional with the rest of my kit, so I kept them the "default" size, Making progress!
  4. I generally just give it three good whacks with the mallet and that's good. Hold the setting tool right in the middle, and as Christine said, make sure you strike straight down, otherwise the two pieces can slip out of alignment.
  5. Congrats on achieving Centurion!
  6. Bonne chance pour ton EIB, Dominic!
  7. You just need to be aware that the whites will not likely match perfectly. I have a friend who uses an Anovos helmet and chest plate with his FX kit and you don't really notice.
  8. Hi Lauren, you will see lots of members approved in Anovos kits. It is considered accurate enough for approval though most make some modifications such as cutting out some of the flashing in the eyes, painting the inside black, etc. Take a look in the Centurion applications subforum to see some of the best built Anovos kits!
  9. Looks real good!
  10. Some of the advantages of painting the inside black is that it will better obscure your face. If light comes into your helmet from a certain angle, your face could become visible, especially if the inside is white as well. But there are also some angles where people/kids could see a bit inside your helmet and keeping it black keeps some of the mystery, in my opinion!
  11. Yes, you'll need to adjust the ridge size in accordance with your cover strip size. Definitely use the butt-join method vice the overlap method. If you need to make the thighs smaller, cut material out of the back.
  12. Mark, good luck on your build! I found that when unsure of where to trim, refer to as much reference material as possible as well as approved Centurion applications!
  13. Did you overlap them here? It looks like that may be the case, which would make them tighter. You should have a little bit of room in there. Make sure you can fit two fingers between the armour ans your leg with the undersuit (or equivalent) on.
  14. You're in Canadian Garrison territory, so head over to 501st.ca and register there!
  15. You should upload your photos to an image hosting site such as imgur, Flickr, or Google Photos. You run out of room for photos here with your account super fast.
  16. Hi Quinn, you may want to have this thread moved to the ANH Build Threads subforum. Photobucket is no longer free if you want to post your photos on forums. I use imgur. Some use Flickr or Google Photos. Which kit is this and which ANH TK are you doing: Stunt or Hero? I find a great guide for trimming is looking at Centurion applications and look up as much reference material as you can! You're off to a solid start!
  17. Good luck! I find browsing Centurion applications to figure out trimming is helpful if you are unsure!
  18. Congrats on your EIB! Bunch of easy fixes to apply for Centurion
  19. A little gap with the ears is normal/canon! Some prefer a nice flush fit, but I wasn't too picky with it.
  20. Hi there, I assume you’re doing the ANH stunt? Where is your armour from?
  21. Take a look here: You'll see Tony used a screwdriver to create a pressure point and then just pushed against the aluminum.
  22. Be wary not to become the sacrifice!
  23. Totally your call, but yeah, it looks like you could adjust this for some comfort!
