  1. Not familiar with RWA...does it have a plastic film on it a la Anovos?
  2. Lookin' good! Hopefully you hear back soon! I am in the same boat with the thighs...they are tight and will not go any higher!
  3. Think most things were covered by others. Definitely need to reduce those drop boxes to be shallower (15mm). It looks to me like you may have done the closure the wrong way on your left shin. It appears to be closing right over left instead of left over right. Your mic tips seem to be pointing in different directions so a little tweak there will fix that.
  4. I totally help adjust other TKs while in mine, heheh. No one spots the little adjustments/details on a TK better than another TK!
  5. Just want to chime in regarding this that you should have return edge at the chest where it meets the ab. Ideally, you should keep return at the kidney and butt plates as well as it will help them sit better, but is not as important. If you can keep some return edge, in most cases, I'd suggest you do (e.g. top of shins), other than the wrist at the forearms as mentioned here. So don't simply go about removing return edge from everything right away...check if you need to remove it, and in most cases, you can. Take a look at centurion applications and the gallery for good references! Other than that, happy BBB day! Good luck with your build!
  6. Congrats on the BBB!
  7. I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say a "flexible tab for the Velcro to rest on"...can you show a close-up photo of the shin open? You didn't put the velcro directly on one side of the shin and then on the inside of the rear cover strip?
  8. You will only be picking your IDs when filling out the form submitting to the 501st, not here. This is just an opportunity to get some of your fellow TKs to give your costume a once over before you officially submit your application. That being said, your build looks great! You are an easy pass for basic approval in my opinion and once you're done that, it looks like you're on track for L2 next! You'll want to minimize that back to kidney gap for L2.
  9. Hi Freddy! Look forward to following your build! Any questions, post 'em up! TK was my first build ever and it is very commonly the first and there are many who have made it just fine! I consulted TK-1636 and Trooper Bay videos a lot when I did my build, along with a few build threads on the FISD. Try to find a thread that is well-documented and is the same vendor as well!
  10. Get out there and crush those rebels make kids smile! ...and then crush those rebels.
  11. Kidney will be straight at the bottom but have an upwards slope at the top where it meets the ab/cod. You can definitely remove some of that return but make sure you keep some!
  12. Sorry to see the issue but glad to hear you've got replacements on the way! The heat gun is a dangerous tool!
  13. Might just be that your body is pushing it that way. Two things you can do to help this. One is tightening the bottom connection. If you have elastic there, use nylon. Other thing you could do i adding foam to push the armour away from your body near the top of the kidney. Good luck!
  14. Congrats on approval!
  15. Yes Dan posted that info up after we had discussed! Bad timing! But like he said, next to no one will notice.
  16. Unfortunately your photos don't display for me. Try another hosting service? Also, regaridng TKIDs, you will need to select several options when you apply for the legion and if it has not been taken yet it will be assigned, if not, it mvoes down the list. You have to choose five possible ID numbers.
  17. Jenny! Think we have already discussed everything that there might be that might need fixing plus the feedback here. I can see that your kidney and ab aren't lining up at the top in these photos. Ideally they should. With something holding the shins lower and cutting out the back at the knees, I think you'll gain a little mobility! Your kidney looks a little off center from your butt plate - when you follow the lines for the detail at the back, you can see it. May just be how you're standing, but I know you're gonna want to get everything perfect! Can't wait for you to join us and troop!
