  1. Nice Work so Far! Looking forward to seeing how the Holster comes out.
  2. Excellent Work on that Armor. You should be proud Trooper!
  3. Great work on cleaning up those biceps! A little depth always looks better if you can manage it!
  4. Everyone wants to be perfect. lol But remember that the Armor in the '70s was not even perfect. Little "imperfections" are to be expected. As long as you are Screen accurate You are doing awesome AJ, and it shows that you have an eye for detail. Don't stress it. Afterall, it is only Plastic
  5. Hello Sherry! Don't worry! Never too short to be a Stormtrooper! You may have come across Cricket's Build Thread. A legend when it comes to tiny troopers. Her build thread can be found here: I am sure you are studying that. So that would be a great start. Once you start getting your armor, post up tons of pictures! We are here to help!
  6. Looks great! Keep up the great work. Just make sure they are not too tight that you can't walk.
  7. AJ, Beautiful work on those snaps my friend.
  8. Congratulations ShaSha. Well deserved. Hope to see you serve with the Attaches once in awhile
  9. Nice Work on the armor Dave. Hope you are making some progress!
  10. Nice Work. From the photos you provided, I do not see a problem with you getting approved in no time. You should be proud of that armor.
  11. I concur with Q Sport some cotton/magician style gloves under your rubber gloves if you plan on trooping with them. It will help immensely!
  12. Welcome to the FISD. Digging the 3D models. Good Luck.
  13. A shame to hear about Hyperfirm. Thanks for posting this to let everyone know.
  14. Agreed with our Expert Armourer Paul here. But you do what you need to do. This is your armor. Either way is acceptable, but it's ultimately your call.
  15. Looking Good Michael. Tube stripes do seem a bit off. But, I do not see that being an issue for the approval process. As Glen already stated, most won't even notice.
  16. Rule of thumb is that you want to be consistent with your strips. For Example. If your rear thigh armor strip is 25mm, you want to be sure the rear calf strip is 25mm or very close to give it a nice even finish.
  17. You can also try using a Magic Eraser. Those work wonders.
  18. I am sure he does yet. In fact, I had to purchase some during my build but had to re-paint it for the outside. As it is the inside, trooperbay is an excellent choice.
  19. This is excellent work, and very detailed. Maybe this was the reason I delayed my TKC adventure
  20. Hey Trever. I would love to build a Mando one day as well. haha. I see you reside in the great state of Pennsylvania. What part? If you have any questions on obtaining a kit from a vetted maker, a complete list can be found here: (But I am sure you already saw this) lol
  21. Nice work so far on your bucket Craig. Joseph just provided some kick-an impolite person links. Go Get Those!
  22. I unfortunately do not know of any vendor that matches the Anovos White. it is so unique. TrooperBay.com sells extra ABS, but doesn't match (to my understanding). You can always try and use a plastic paint to try and match the Anovos white. (that is what I did when I had to fix my thighs) Unless some of my other esteemed collogues have a better suggestion.
  23. Cut Once Measure Twice. Keep at it!
