2 Years ago on July 1st 2016 I become an approved 501st Legion Stormtrooper! and I have the FISD to thank for that! I figured I should make some sort of Anniversary announcement and share my love of the FISD and 501st Legion. It truly has been an honor to be part of such an amazing and talented group of troopers. Never, in my wildest dreams, thought that being a plastic spaceman would be such a rewarding experience. I have trooped 40 times. I actually thought I would reach 100 by now lol But that is okay. I have visited Children's Hospitals, been to major sporting events, various amounts of cons, and YES been to Celebration Orlando. I have met so many great people in my time here. It started out by contacting my local garrison. I had goals of creating a Stormtrooper Commander. I quickly, due to me being eager and NOT patient at all, decided to create the classic ANH-S. (I still have the goal to create a commander one day). Here I was bombarded by an overwhelming support team from the FISD in assisting me with my build. Thanks to all of you, I was soon approved and my trooping days started! Here are some of my favorite moments over the 2 years. I cannot speak for it being approved or denied. I personally do not see it being an issue for Level 2 or Level 3 if you use snaps instead of pop rivets. Because it is not stated or seen. @ukswrath or @justjoseph63 are the deployment officers. I have reached out to Joseph, but maybe one of them can assist. I am not sure if there is a correct answer, so I am hopeful that one of them will chime in on this one. Wait and hear from one of them, because they approve/deny L2 and L3. Wish I could give you an answer on this. But I am curious about the response, so I will be watching this one closely.

Just so I understand you correctly, are you referring to the pop rivets on the back on the drop boxes circled in Red?

Looks like you are doing well! Great work! Reference this photo for details. It looks like you can shave a bit more off the teeth.

I agree with Tony (and if you don't you are a fool like anyone) lol. but seeing that you have already used the ABS paste, I would suggest adding more ABS to the inside to reinforce it. As Tony already mentioned, it will give you more material to work with when you begin sanding it smooth.
