  1. So working on those shins: 1/4 inch return edge on top, nothing on the bottom is what I'm seeing out there. Any other thoughts?
  2. Thinking snaps with webbing: not going full on brackets. Got some Tandy and a setter.
  3. Was wondering how much of the return edge off the top of the kidney plate can go: especially at the ends where it seems it would dig in.
  4. Good to know. I does seem a bit wonky on the left side. That's how they went on right off the sticker template...From what I researched they seemed universal.
  5. Hey guys, any ideas on how to post more pics? I added some links on another post (helmet pics) but no responses. Site says I can only add 0.3MB and I've tried adding smaller but : no dice. I'd rather not delete a bunch of earlier posts as maybe someone will possibly learn from my process. I've seen other WIPs with a lot more pics.
  6. So while trimming the back/torso, think I finished the bucket. Any input is appreciated! Ran out of space so hopefully this link works. https://1drv.ms/f/s!Av3X_DOT1rD_g7EAnpdxtOPtIWQG4w
  7. Thanks for the input on this. Wasn't sure if I could go smaller on the back as it's sort of a little "backpack": good to know I can. I'm on the short and heavier side for a stormtrooper so any extra room in there will help.
  8. Oh yeah I worked on that grill. Almost done with the bucket: will post some pics soon!
  9. I think I've maxed my upload ability on this thread. Keept getting error messages although the image is 214kb.
  10. Working on the back and chest piece. Is there return edge I can/should remove? I think from some of the reference photos and builds I've seen but would rather be safe than sorry.
  11. Following. I have the same kit and am 5'8" 180 lbs. I've found it a bit tight on my chest. Did you use water bath?
