1. I find that overkill on strengthening armor is never a bad thing.
2. Have you put glue on the corners? And also note, there are often little issues that we see with our armor that others don't. Once you have the button plate painted and you suit is complete I bet no one will notice. If it is a problem, try re-gluing, and use strong rare earth magnets to hold in place while curing. Your GML will let you know if it needs to be fixed as well.
3. Pics would help!! Here's how.. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/48-posting-images-in-threads-2015/
4. Yes, about everybody (including me) replaced the belt.
5. There's a beauty!
6. And always keep a look out on Alpine's forum for armor parties if you need help.
7. Yes! I love me some shoretrooper!
8. I personally use e6000. Even though it takes 24 hrs to cure, it has a strong bond, but can be removed and no residue is left.
9. Cool! This is a fun format to follow your build! Best of luck.
10. ^^Sums up my life.
11. -------------- And I have never seen anyone glue the rubber/latex hand plates to them.

FX Armor

FX armor may not be used for Level 3 approval.

That's all I know. Hopefully someone else can give you a better answer.
13. Yep. AM is symmetrical. Don't worry.
14. A link and photos should be most helpful.
15. Basically anything that hugs you body and has no visible logos.
16. Hey Peter! Welcome to FISD. I used E6000 in my build as well. Try to wipe off the extra glue be fore try. Even then you'll still have some glue that will be left over. To get rid of that glue just rub it with you finger. Or take some of your plastic trimming and use that to rub it off. This is the nice thing about E6000, if you make a mistake or mess up, it will come off completely. Don't worry about using any solvents or tools other than the ABS, you want to avoid damaging the armor. Cheers!
17. I wouldn't mind to have that bucket.
18. Also, I am never a fan of having the cap being separate from the back.
19. Agreed! This is great. When I take apart my current armor and rebuilding I'm doing this.
20. Beautiful job! I quite like the way the paint looks on that, looks like metal.
21. Cause they had the pauldron on first, then put on the pack? I didn't notice that until you pointed it out.
22. Hmm... I truly wish could help out somehow. :/
23. This is not pressing at all, but I'd like to point out that maybe we should update the links with the new ones? Cheers!
24. Hmm.. I think you might get more help over at the RPF. Over here at FISD plastic is more our thing. Good luck though!
