1. Really? That's nice. Take a look at what happens when I upload one photo..
2. Why not though? It's social spyware, ok, they can look at my pictures of building Stormtroopers and stuff.

I just shared this as an alt to photobucket of what I'll be using now and hoped it would help someone else.
3. True, but most of us have FB and it's always nice not to need to sign up at another site.
4. Yes! This project is awesome. If you have just come to this thread be sure to check out Jon's build on the RPF.
5. Agreed, that's what pushed me over the edge.
6. I have been using Photobucket ever since I joined this site (which is exactly one year ago today!). Overall it has worked but it has always frustrated me. Loading the site takes quite a bit longer than most sites, there are TONS of ads everywhere that fill the screen, and uploading isn't the fastest as well. Not to mention that I have to keep unsubscribing from their emails about every week. So thought, why don't I use Facebook as a place to store my photos?? I tried it and it works! This means that you can now avoid all the frustrations of Photobucket and the best part is that Facebook does not have a limit on how many photos you upload! Here's a quick video showing the process which I follow to store my future pictures. If you have any questions feel free to ask me!
7. Follow the advice from Brian. Make temporary strapping with elastics. And do not rush! It's not worth ruining armor for the sake of an appearance at a party. Take a look at how this strapping was done for a temporary set up before you get your original strapping system in place. Good luck!
8. Hey bud! I believe this isn't the best place to be introducing yourself. You might want to head over to the new members sub forum. Cheers!
9. I would replace the belt.. Since your going stunt, like Q mentioned above, there should only be two rivets (or Chicago screws). The belt sags a ton when your blaster is in there, so my advice is to replace that belt. And pull off that plastic!
10. Under Suit For 501st approval: Black non-textured material, either one-piece or two-piece construction with no visible zippers or logos. So if you have any under suit that is formfitting and black you should be good to go!
11. Please post your access request here.. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/ Make sure you have a link to your 501st profile.
12. Wow! Vader will approve.
13. Here, I have the new design.
14. Awesome! I barley know how to use a sewing machine myself.
15. I think he is referring to the Alpha kits?
16. Is that my kit? I'm not sure how our TFA kits have held up. My experience with Anovos plastic hasn't been the best, thin in areas and cracking. Personally when I buy my TFA I'll go with a kit from a member here. Just something to consider.
17. Hey Garrett! This is what I use.

https://www.google.com/shopping/product/16251332545541524060?lsf=seller:8740,store:8624746057539803866&prds=oid:3924435593023692458&q=husky+50+gallon+job+box&hl=en-us&ei=6iwKWJq4F8XS0gKtuLHoCA&lsft=cm_mmc:Shopping-_-LIAs-_-D25T-_-203668066&lsft=gclid:CjwKEAjw-abABRDquOTJi8qdojwSJABt1S1OpGuSw8DU7oYDj6mniDSHN6qphxu7Nrv1nDz2H7AjuRoCL8Pw_wcB#sgro=om

It's really nice, it fits every thing including my blaster and bucket. I've seen people use towels to cushion the armor and protect it. Or you can be like me a just throw everything I there.
18. Ah, the beauty of this! I could just watch this all day long. Haha, I really need to build another TK..
19. Hey David! I'd say trim your teeth a bit more. Take a look at this helmet. You're almost there. Can't wait to see this armor come together! You've already made great progress. Cheers! Edit: A great resource for photo references of the original armor can be found here.
20. Totally depends on how you construct it. Just do yourself a favor and order a separate one from a different seller. The belt that comes with the kit is not very good at all. You will also need to fuse the butt plate with the kidney plate. From the CRL... A separate kidney/butt plate is not allowed - the kidney and butt plate shall be combined/fused to a single plate/one piece.
21. Looking great! I can't believe this is all basically pvc!
22. Most impressive! Be sure to keep us updated, as I love seeing how other costumes are put together.
23. !! I wouldn't use a heat gun! Try a hot water bath instead.

If you could post pics of your problem we will probably be able to give you better advice.

Cheers.
