  1. Dang! This is looking sweet! Can't wait to see how it turns out. Keep up the good work!
  2. Excited to see this come together! The paint job on the helmet looks really good.
  3. Here's a pic of the helmet from launch bay I found.
  4. Update http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=d364b6e2ca1099fb0335fbecd&id=34dfdfb428
  5. Yeah, the strip does look a bit thick, I'll be making it smaller. And yes, I will be fine tuning the sight and the hole. I'll take some more photos of them to get your input. These are also just rough starts on the parts. I hope to work done soon, but one of my sisters is getting married this week, so I probably won't get much done. Hopefully Friday will bring more updates. And thanks for all the pointers Tino! They are really appreciated.
  6. The chest straps look like some straps I've used for scuba diving. If you have a dive shop near by it might be worth a look, though I can't guarantee anything, just a thought.
  7. Yep! Also if you have requests, such as the effect going faster or slower or different designs and backgrounds I'm willing to do that as well.
  8. Take a look at these two weld effects I made. Here's one with the Imperial Insignia And a Stormtrooper helmet
  9. Here is my progress! Please note that I was working and I got in the 'zone' and forgot to take photos... The Scope and Sight Mag Folding Stock - needs sanding. And this is where I did not take photos... Here's what it looks like so far. That's all for now!
  10. Also, is anyone going to try to build a jump pack? ---------
  11. Whoops, didn't even think about that! Sorry about that. Maybe this would help? http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=10760.0
  12. Nice!! I wish my hasbro turned out that well!
  13. Nice looking scope! I found this tutorial very helpful about posting photos. <br><br> <a data-ipb='nomediaparse' href='http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/48-posting-images-in-threads-2015/'>http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/48-posting-images-in-threads-2015/</a><br><br> Good luck to you!
  14. I love what you said Vern. I totally agree. I mean there are 111,000+ replys on the Anovos preorder thread, and the armor isn't even out yet. I bet when we get the armor it should (knock on wood) quite down.
  15. Yeah, I'm glad you recommended that I thin them out.

  17. All righty! I was able to work a bit tonight. Here's my progress. Also changed the photos to be smaller, better for viewing. I finally found a way to look at references by putting my iPad in a plastic bag. Happy day, no nasty resin! I brought the thickness of the flash guards down and the sanded down the gluing side. Next I replaced the fake screw with real ones. Then I worked on the trigger. I used a spring from a pen that was graciously donated by college recruiters. Chris, your suggestion worked wonderfully! I was able to get the proper size for the hole. Getting the selector and the d-ring thingy fixed for the proper d-ring. For the selector I sanded a bit to much so in the pictures below I used foam to build up the height, later i found a washer of the proper size that I will use instead. Next came the folding stock. Then drilled the holes out and cleared out the resin and fitted the pipe insert. That's as far as I have gotten tonight.
  18. I don't blame you, there is a lot of hullabaloo going on. The funny thing is that we don't even have the kits in our hands yet.
  19. Too bad. It would be better for both parties if it came incomplete. They would just send us the pieces and we put it together. Oh well.
  20. Good idea to start this thread! I have a question, not sure if I missed it anywhere, but we build the kits right? So I assume that the TD comes in pieces and then we put it together the correct way, not the way Anovos shows us. Right?
