  1. Yeah, I have an Anovos. Though the kit looks great and the price is nice, I would recommend not getting the kit. I agree with Jim completely. My helmet already has two small cracks and my kidney armor is cracking as well. It can be really thin plastic, so in the future I'll definitely be getting a different kit.
  2. Probably reinforce beforehand.
  3. Well the DP kinda looks RotJ. Maybe you could paint it up to look like an imperial shocktrooper?
  4. ------------- So if you want jimmys kit without the wait.
  5. There's a set of his armor for sell here and it's listing is on eBay.
  6. The same thing which happened to you happened to a fellow member of my garrison. I believe all he did was glue it back on with superglue. But the idea of using a short, small metal rod, like a nail, would work well. Any small nail should work, all you are trying to accomplish is to strengthen the connection between the charging handle and blaster. Cheers!
  7. Interesting.. I have not heard of anyone doing this, or even about the deal.
  8. You're looking really good! You have the fit of the armor just right, which looks really good. There's not much which I can see that you need to work on, other than maybe paint your rivets white? Other than that and the small bits you're missing, you look pretty good.
  9. Yeah... Follow the advice from Q and Joseph. Ebay is iffy at best.
  10. I think he has something similar to these.. http://www.mcguirearmynavy.com/GI-Helmet-Pads-for-MICH-ACH-Helmet.html?select=PD-110-FG&gdffi=d28c120bce1246879a79e0505cfa1558&gdfms=F05D15EDED39450B82F2D80A9EB3986D&gclid=CjwKEAjw97K_BRCwmNTK26iM-hMSJABrkNtbQ-2w6FEE6RdIF6ERNe6hiyNuoNV37J4siocniyfL4RoCfdXw_wcB They are what I have.
  11. Wow! I am very impressed! I think once you are finished you're going to have a lovely blaster. Keep it up.
  12. I think the best way to get a feel of what most people do is look at the Centurion applications and see what they do like what Kalani suggested. Here's a link to the forum. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/72-request-centurion-status/ And I would also recommend to contact your local garrison and see ask them if you can see how their armor is rigged and possibly attend an armor party.
  13. Hey Jeff! No need to apologize for asking questions! That's what this site is for. I haven't gotten anything from RS but I know many people here have. But getting a the assembled vs. unassembled will not affect your acceptance into the 501st, but rather how the armor fits and looks on you. I know people have gotten the full commission and been accepted. Ultimately I'd recommend that you build your own suit, this way you'll be sure that it fits you perfectly, BUT if you're not too handy with tools getting a commission isn't frowned upon at all. Hope I answered some of your questions and I hope that someone who has dealt with RS can answer your more specific questions. Cheers!
  14. Beautiful set of armor friend!
  15. Yep. I saw that as well. I would sure love to have a look at one of these suits hands on.
  16. Nope. They aren't pointing at the mic. I would recommend that you get tape and try different locations to put your fans in. This way you'll be able to find the best place and then attach it into place with velcro.
  17. The reasoning for this, I might be wrong, is that HWT is based off the Imperial Schocktroopers in Battkefront II. These troopers only had orange pauldrons. Again, I could be wrong.
  18. Top notch! You should have no problem.
  19. Their actions alongside with the soundbites help it.
  20. And welcome to FISD!
  21. Well, to get parts that match your armor, you'll have to get them from who you bought it from. Keep trying. Other armors might not match the color of the plastic used.
  22. Excited to see this unfold.
