  1. Something that is standing out to me is the strips on the limbs is a lifted plastic and not just a thin strip instead of just one thin strip Sides of the forearms are also somewhat indendted quite stringently on the last pic you can see cloth gaskets on the elbow obvious backpack differences and disconnected kidney/posterior and differently placed belt and back of belt material, also diagonal connection from abs to kidney bicep isnt even connected back of shins don't seem connected back is different design, looks like separate greeblies middle part of back looks like FOTK piece? shoulder straps are larger indents also differences in the TD Honestly I'm just a bit dissapointed with this design for the movie. It looks sloppy even to an untrained eye, and looks like they tried to be different but in the end seems more like they threw a bunch of plastic pieces together, even if there are some slight similarities between it and clone armor. Interested to see how people will adapt the build though, if any.
  2. A lot of people use it so that it is darker and doesn't reflect light on the inside, makes it impossible to see your eyes from the outside
  3. Death troopers fall under spec ops, so you should check their forum detachment for more info
  4. Goodluck to you sir, perhaps this would be better suited on the spec ops forum?
  5. I would pay to see some Kylo Ren saber hilts. I've heard good and bad reviews about 3D printed ones but I've had my eyes pealed for a while, just a suggestion!
  6. Wow, i cant even imagine how many times he took it all apart and started over lol
  7. Cool! Are those your original blue prints?
  8. I'm a mix I'd say. I am somewhat of an introvert when not around people i don't know, but when I'm in my armor I'm super extrovert, but if i'm around people i know and not in armor, im and extrovert.
  9. Could be a malfunction with the coverite, maybe call the manufacturer and get a temperature check
  10. I know some kits like RS tend to run larger, but some others have easily modified armor that can be made for smaller troopers
  11. Seeing these makes me want to go watch the movie again haha
  12. What vendor are you buying the armor from? Or are you making it yourself?
  13. Please make more pvc tutorials. that was gorgeous

  22. CA stands for Cyanoacrylate, and is primarily used for for small prop assembly and other quick fixes, it is a chemical that dries extremely fast. This is the kind everyone is talking about: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCX50&P=FR&gclid=CM6PjpCBpM0CFQdqfgodlNkNxg I have an ANOVOS kit and i used some CA glue in some places, but let me warn you that even though it may seem difficult with E6000, if you dont know exactly how you're going to hold something together while it cures, it will probably ruin your armor if you use CA glue. Not to mention it will instantly bond your skin together if it touches you. It also makes a strange semi gloss coating on the armor, which i can only assume is some kind of oxidizing side effect on the plastic. In other words, use at your own risk. Heat only really works for bending parts. I would not recommend heating plastic in order to make it stick to other pieces. Here is a thread for heating armor : http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/page-34#entry472795 My clamps look like this
