What kind of polish did you use for this?

I really want to be able to adjust the ANOVOS build when it gets here, so to be able to do my snaps I need the right pliers. These are a pair I picked up from the store, and I'm wondering if these are the correct type for just the average industrial snaps? All the other helmets ive seen thus far haven't had this strange anomaly. Others are right i think, talk to anovos about it.

If you look at any Instagram picture they've posted, there is just a slur of negative comments, mainly pointed towards the TK pre-order

The malfiecence I find with ANOVOS thus far is their logic behind shipping orders of tier 1 buyers first, their 2 second and so forth, claiming that people who waited longer deserve their purchases earlier. That in my opinion is complete bull. The only difference that should matter is who got the discounted price or not. As a company they should just ship all orders whenever the resources are available. If you look at their Instagram or Facebook pages, people are non stop berating them for this issue, and for being late in shipping overall.

I watched a video where some of the 'guys from Tested' met up with some private SW collectors who said they had given ANOVOS access to some of the original casts from the set. I wouldn't rule out the possibilities of the company just yet, i mean they do have a sturdy history behind them, and that makes it totally plausible that they could be more accurate than any fan made kits available from individual vendors if its true.

I've watched a few videos on how pvc works and the video on the anovos shadow trooper build helps kind of line out what is required of pvc. I'm not an expert but i know that for starters it requires a specific glue for better binds. IMO PVC might be a more durable option, but you could always look it up on the hardness scale.

i think its important to note the guy making it is an experienced prop builder and probably has a preference built up to a certain way of doing this sort of thing, so he probably put his own spin on a lot of things

I've got the ANOVOS ANH kit on pre-order and I've got most of my materials gathered for meticulous building, but I'm starting to question whether or not i have the right glue for the job. I few videos on youtube suggested Zap-a-gap and zip kicker, and it has a lot of great reviews on amazon and seems great for ABS plastic. On the other hand some people say e-6000 is the best. Can anyone say which is the better glue for the job?

I also got my kit from anovos, still waiting, the suspense is killing me. I'm looking at just getting a pair of boots from amazon that fit the criteria, then giving them a glossy finish with spray paint or boot paint. I didn't want to be on a waitlist so this is the boots I think I'm going with. Check em out, if you dont like them you could always go with the Pimp 50 model from Fantasma. Search "Bass Mens Amsterdam Ankle Boot", all you'd need to do is paint it white. Goodluck

I just purchased my ANOVOS kit, and what i'm having trouble finding is boots, blaster, and dark/smoked lenses. Something else people might want to work on getting is foam inserts for the helmet and armor parts, as well as a lot of velcro. Can someone PM if they find/have a good source for lenses?

I've ordered my ANH (stunt i think) helmet and i need to change the lenses which are dark green. Does anyone know where i can get a good deal on some material for the lenses? I've heard stuff about just getting it at an auto shop or something but all i can find is mirrored material. The only other deals which seemed accessible are other green lenses, or shadowed/smoked lenses that are way too expensive.
