  1. Unless you want to trim your armor, i suggest something i tried with my armor; just take some foam and glue it to the insides of your thighs so they don't shake around and will stay in place. Otherwise you'll have to deal with the 'clankyness' of your armor moving on you. As for the elastic, you may have to trim and sew in order to preserve what you need and remove what you don't want. Other than that, it seems to fit you well! +1 for using Imgur
  2. Try here https://trooperbay.com/costuming-accessories
  3. I wouldn't trust it. It's easy to take photos from another website and change the watermarks. And while we're on the topic, never buy from second or third parties claiming to have a certain product, buyer beware indeed.
  4. It's a type of harder plastic used to make things like gun or knife holsters, or anything needing hard plastics.
  5. It would not be a good material to use, nor has anyone tried to use it i believe. Though it may bear some similar physical attributes to that of ABS, it simply would be too costly (thus defeating one of someone's purpose for using it) or too difficult to make into an entire suit; piece by piece. It would be interesting to see someone try to do it though.
  6. Don't worry! You haven't messed anything up. I would say at the least, you just haven't sanded them quite enough. Here is what my ears look like As you can see, i think the key difference between ours is that the bottom of yours is not flush with the bottom of the bucket. Try a bit more sanding and soon you should have a good shape
  7. One way would be to add another piece of plastice where the gap is so that it fits between the two cut thigh pieces, then fill the gaps with ABS paste. Here is an example of what i mean. Red = plastic piece, Blue = paste And then of course you would have to sand down the paste a bit. Other than that I wouldn't know what to do to make it less noticeable
  8. If your armor allows you to, then just do it without the helmet. Even if you're going slow its unsafe with the bucket on because of the kiddies running all over
  9. Looks awesome so far! I always hear great things about Jim's work.
  10. Alas i must spend my money on Uni and force myself to look away from this
  11. msouza is right, best to stay away from ebay. On top of that, it looks like an old FX kit, which is no longer approvable without some heavy modding
  12. Why not just buy already black or smoked lenses?
  13. Cool! Did you also post this on the Blizzard forums? If not it may be better suited there http://www.blizzardforce.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=15&sid=8d49fe6e436b90fc219bb26e16d76ce9
  14. I used some small files to trim down the edge of the frown, everyone's is like that from ANOVOS. You could also trim the eyes a bit if you wanted, just a cosmetic thing, not necessary tbh
  15. NICE! I was going to do a phasma but chose Kylo instead. What phase armor is this for jim? Still fiberglass-ish material?
  16. A true helmet has no seam whatsoever. TK helmets are a combination of multiple plastic pieces, not one molded piece. Run for the hills my friend. In terms of whether its a recast or not, just pay attention to the little details like the big seam, the frown (which is off center on either side) and things that generally most recasters do not know how to accurately copy
  17. Goodluck! Check out this thread, it really helped me with my anovos build as well http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35086-ukswraths-anovos-tk-build/page-1
  18. Good luck on finishing things up! It will be easier to decide what part of the shin those pieces are if we know what kit you have.
  19. That black strap connecting Chest with Back...
