  1. My Kit lives and is transported in a 50gal Stanley Bin. It all fits inside, including a Chookaboom Emergency kit, some water, trading cards, wipes, and towel. I use Novus 1, 2, 3 Polish to keep my TK fresh and shiny. Here's the chookaboom kit. I've added to it over the years, and have never had to use for myself. Chookaboom Emergency Troop Kit
  2. Yup, Mario's given you good advice. Great Start!
  3. Nice work Brad. You can soften the ends of those cover strips. They look very square and will scratch you!
  4. Hi Kevin, Good work. I've had a quick look and here's what I see: . your drop boxes should be moved out towards the end of the ABS belt. They should be aligned with the end of the belt. . it looks like one of your shoulder straps is coming off. Also, your shoulder straps should come down further on your chest plate . your backplate is overlapping your kidney plate . it's hard to tell, but your forearms might be long. They shouldn't overlap your handplates. Maybe its a strapping issue? . it might be a shadow, but your right thigh cover strip looks too wide, which might also be impacting the positioning of your thigh ammo belt. Please check the CRL.
  5. Hi Ron, a kit is available here ...------------ Here's my build for reference ... https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/41740-68bricks-spacetrooper-backpack-build/?tab=comments#comment-559153 Or grab Paul's as it's mostly completed!
  6. RS Armor will serve you well Cameron. I highly recommend checking out the “Advanced Tactics” section where you can see examples of those who have taken their armor to the next levels of screen accuracy (EIB and Centurion). I’d recommend that you aim to build to one of the certification levels, as TK’s look their best at these levels. It's really not hard to acquire EIB or Centurion, and it’s best to do during your build rather that after. If, and when, you’re looking for other bits –and-pieces, accessories, boots, blasters, electronics, etc., be sure to check out the “Imperial Commissary/PX” section for items for sale, project runs, and for other stuff that most of the troopers use. Also, make contact with your local Garrison. They’ll help guide you through the process of becoming a member of the 501st, and may have local Armor Parties in the works where you can get hands-on build advice and guidance, not to mention meet members of your future Garrison. All the best on your TK journey!
  7. Looking Good Matt. Others have pointed out improvement stuff. Well Done.
  8. That's a nice looking blaster and it should serve you well. Feel free to check out https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/127-anh-blastech-e11/ for E-11 builds. As for ANH-Stunt lenses, I'd recommend visiting your local welding supply store and getting a replacement welding face shield. They are relatively inexpensive and durable. If you are ever in the Blast-a-Trooper booth you'll be glad you upgraded from the stock lenses.
  9. A toothpick works wonders when trying to scrape away just the right amount of paint. Easy fix.
  10. Congratulations & your TK number is a wonderful memorial.
  11. Congrats Chris! I'd recommend you cut down the screws inside your helmet and put some acorn nuts on the end to make them less likely to impale your head should your bucket get knocked while wearing it. Nice job.
  12. Open up your bucket opening a little at a time as you can't go back. I'd keep it as tight as possible so that people and especially kids can't see up into your bucket while you are wwearing it. You could also try mounting your headset in your bucket, or wear earbuds and have a wireless mic in your bucket. It's really nice not to have a wire to worry about when you are getting dressed or undressed.
  13. Great Looking Build Brendan. Nice Work.
  14. Nice work Lorelei. As for your lenses and fogging ... it all depends on how your fans are set up and how much fresh air your bucket can intake. Some troopers have gaps around the lenses, and some don't. Some fog, and some don't. You'll figure it out once you wear your bucket and see what happens. Nice Progress!
  15. Hi Adi, yes, you'll need to close up that ab/kidney gap for Centurion. Also, check the control for the placement of the belt; yours might be a little low as it's supposed to meet/overlap the button plate, but only just. Nice progress!
  16. Be Patient Chris. Good things come to those who wait, and AP makes good stuff. Life happens to us all.
  17. Nice job on those ears! Good looking bucket. Don't be afraid to peel off those stickers and paint the details for higher levels of certification. See if you can get that brow trim to sit level with the eyes. It looks odd. Keep up the good work!
  18. I use a Bluetooth wireless mic as well. Got it a few years ago. Works fine with my icomm and amp. It's not this one, but looks just like it... ----------
