  1. In the for sale run threads, the one for the hand guards, she list's a glue that works great. Sorry I cant remember what it's called, and it's a long thread.
  2. Good deal! Also check out Haribon's thread; he nailed it with a little different technique! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26001-haribon72s-anh-stormtrooper-ne-hero-build/page-8
  3. Could you lengthen the straps between the kidney and the butt piece, rather than the back? That way it would be hidden by the belt, but you would be way more comfortable.
  4. Check out Amazon- search magnifying glasses, or you can put in jeweler loupe; the sizes of these are on the box in the pics, but I have one more coming in the mail a little bigger; I will post up a report when they come in!
  5. No- you must do it our way! Sounds like you made a cool find!
  6. I did my first pair with the Bass boots and painted, not tall enough for my shins. Got some TK tallboys and LOVE them! Congrats on the upgrade!
  7. Ahhhh just saw it, thanks. I'm a member of the club, had to move my counter. It's all fixable and will look fantastic!
  8. Coming along! I am not an ESB expert so forgive; is the scope too far back, or do they fluctuate? In looking at the screen pics and your last, looks like it could move forward some?
  9. Bone could save you a lot of cutting/sanding with this tip!
  10. The velcro idea actually does sound super easy now that you mention it; Why did I not hear of it before!! You would just have to size the lens pieces down a bit prior. I did the long strip with holes for the ear screws. Vern is the right though, the head padding makes all the difference in the world as far as room in the bucket.
  11. You are going to be kept busy! The blaster build is challenging enough, I can't imagine adding all of the awesome electronics as well that you are planning. Looking forward to the pics and progress!
  12. Appreciate the post and info! I just ordered that 50$ bad boy you had shown in your earlier post- I will give a report to everyone for sure. I am so sick of the headpiece of my mic's digging in my skull after I put on my lid and then my mic wanting to float away from my mouth, even after biting it while putting the helmet on. There has to be a better system! Post edit- it came in! I wanted to share the link to a quick vid I made. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30596-throat-mic-demo-video/
  13. Heck yea, looking great! You could trim off the chest piece some, the side portions that are extending towards your back. You can see some of the reference pics to see just how much. Strong work!
  14. Be careful of those long screws with the smaller AP helmets, they can scratch your head when you screw on your kid! I had to drimmel a couple of mine down.
  15. Thanks Tino; they are glass. Good call, I needed to post how thick these babies are! They give a great real 'scope' like lens look. Parden the war wound on the hand; armor party last weekend- still healing up from!
  16. You could fill those holes with some paste and then polish, you could barely see it after you were done if you wanted to save the piece.
  17. Sill working on my DVH; found some perfect cheap len's for E11 scopes on Amazon. About 3 or 4 bucks each! These are the sizes I got, but I may get one size up for the larger len s. Simply drimmel the outer ring holding the len's first and then pry the metal apart, the len's will fall out. Drill or drimmel out your scope ends to hollow them out, and your done! My blaster is all dusty from the drilling and still all taped up for glueing, but I will show finished picks on my build thread. I wont glue these in until after the blaster clean up and painting.
  18. OK; got the counter bracket moved down under the rail and shifted the counter back a bit. Cut off the tip of the rail so the T track on top could go in and screwed n glued the stock. Put on the power cylinders and found a smaller wire I will use on the back; will put that on after the glue dries tonight; some progress pics, still in the rough dirty stage of course. Tip for those in the build- do NOT glue your end of the barrel front piece in until near the end! Getting the screws and washers in for the stock can be next to impossible if you do; trust me!
  19. That is great! Literal LOL's here!
  20. Thanks; my goof on the bracket! I even saw that on your build (which has been a HUGE help) and just forgot. Totally why I am going all E6000 for now, and going more permanent when I have everything checked out by the experts! I had about 4 mm available to move the counter bracket back (which moved the scope and counter back), and I also moved the counter only back as you mentioned on the bracket about a 3/4 cm (and drilled a new hole in the resin). Hopefully the two small shifts combined will get me where I need to be. I took them apart though to let the glue do it's thing, so will grab some pics in the morning. Really appreciate the tips!
