Nice work Dave. Just so you know the shim needs to come down and match the lower edge of the kidney. If you had placed it where it is for the 22mm notch effect the notch will be place on the Ab side of the shim. I have an illustration but for some reason I'm having difficulty uploading it.

Hey Mark welcome to the FISD. Let us know if there's anything we can help you with. In the meantime there are countless of build threads you can scour over for assembly reference. I believe we even have a couple KBs already in progress. Good thing is the KB kit resembles Anovos in many ways and there are quite a few of those builds dating back a couple years. In other words there's plenty of experienced FOTK builders here that are here to help when you need it. Have fun and enjoy the journey.

Fantastic job Brien, nice work If I had any suggestions, in the areas that have excessive gap between sections (shoulder bells to shoulder covers and back plate to kidney when arms are raised), or overlapping sections (posterior to kidney) I highly recommend you replace any elastic with nylon webbing and/or at minimum shorten the length.

Looking good so far Rat. Teeth corners should be squared. Reference photo Eye sockets could have a little less return edge. Reference photo

Return edges give the illusion of armor thickness which is not a requirement anywhere except for the sniper knee. As Mathias mentioned the galley section has quite a few reference photos. If you have further questions please let us know.

Hey Brad looking good brother. The thigh ammo belt is fine, optimal would be equal positioning, but it's not a requirement. I know a lot of builders like to center the ammo box with cover strip thinking logically that's where it should be placed however, as seen in the following reference photo's it can be in either location. Evenly distributing the mounting location on the thigh undoubtedly offsets the ammo belt for the thigh on most armors. That said, it's already mounted so pick your poison, drill new holes and reposition it or leave it as is. Choice is yours. Neither way should effect any level of approval. As for the chest plate return edge, again here's a reference photo. Except for the sniper knee return edge is not a requirement anywhere so trim as needed. Hope this helps
