  1. Does anyone know if costs became a factor with MIMIC? I can't imagine the process was cheap
  2. Cut out Reference photo
  3. I was told by someone that worked on the TFA costumes (arm chair info ) they cost roughly $10K each.
  4. Heck I'd be willing to pay big $ for a suit that was more authentic.
  5. Excellent work Florian, if you could I would drop the biceps even more.
  6. Fantastic!
  7. Let's see some photos. The FISD is about sharing information. You say you have a kit or at minimal the material it's made from please post a photo with you holding it. That's not too much to ask is it?
  8. So Jay Parsons over on the MEPD website used to make all the Sandtrooper pauldrons. These were the real deal, made of leather, excellent padding and I understand it they were about as screen accurate as you could get. I have one of his TD Captain (orange) pauldrons and I had him custom make my Death Trooper pauldron. I can't say enough about his products.
  9. lol Jimmy's ST page has his contact info. Send him a message. Sorry for the confusion
  10. Same for the drop boxes he also said
  11. I have a Magma Specialist mate in my garrison he states use black elastic.
  12. Awesome! Great job so far
  13. Alright Ryan congratulations, welcome to Centurion
  14. Very expensive and the process is complex, even more so with the Sith suits from what I understand. Most hobby enthusiast lack the resources to replicate screen suits. I also suspect customers being able to afford it would be limited.
  15. It's been 5 years and NOBODY has produced a screen accurate FOTK costume, not even by those that worked with the movie suits. It's not going to happen, not by Anovos nor anyone else. All we can hope for is someone makes something close.
  16. Anything is a possibility but I wouldn't hold your breath just yet.
  17. That BFG is awesome! How much does that bad boy weigh?
  18. Fantastic, great news. Looking forwarded to your build.
  19. Welcome Eriberto and congratulations
  20. Jimmy in the Philippines - FB Shoretrooper page https://www.facebook.com/groups/828625320608206/ I believe Phoenix Props still makes them - https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=phoenix props&epa=SEARCH_BOX
  21. Great job David Observations: NOTE: None of these will hold you back from basic approval 1. Shoulder bells should basically be touching the shoulders (see reference photo) 2. Shoulder bells should be level with the shoulders (see reference photo) 3. Right two waist belt boxes should be a bit closer to one another, around 1/4" or less
  22. Yours's look like they're made out of aluminum which should allow you to bend them outward to get to the screw the bend them back once installed.
