  1. Hey Christian in addition to what Dan is recommending you can also remove the ear and try adding additional screws or pop rivets to secure the two halves that are still overlapping, Since the ear will hide this area you can use as many as needed.
  2. TKs in Rogue one and Solo are a new in design so warrant their own CRL. Mando TKs were a mixed bag of old school OTTK so no changes there. FX were generation 1 fan sculped and lacked accuracy in almost every way possible. They served their purpose and are being phased out, let's not go back lol
  3. Matthew is this DL or DW?
  4. Welcome Bill. Glen being the master of information around these parts has started you off with some great info. Adding to that there's no one armor kit available that's better then another, at least for the time being. Each has their benefits and challenges and all will require a lot of work regardless. That said here on the FISD you'll find the best informed group of FOTK builders willing to help you along the way.
  5. Yea you have a lot of goodies in there that can be contributing to some helmet echo. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Bounce ideas off each other.
  6. Alright so besides raising your Ab plate as Glen suggested this armor type will require you do some trimming for it to look correct however, before you do that how much room do you have between your armor and thigh (at the top)? Reason I ask is once you trim it you'll need to pull it up higher, but you'll need some space to pull that off.
  7. WOW! great job
  8. Got the same email Glen, half tempted to order one (FOMO syndrome, fear of missing out) however, I'll wait and see who receives theirs.
  9. Sorry for the late reply Dave. Mario posted the illustration I was looking for, and if "B" is what you were shooting for than yes you're on the right track. Sorry for the confusion
  10. Apparently I'm bad at keeping track of threads I follow, congratulations Gregory
  11. Coming along nicely Erick
  12. Great job on your build trooper. Good luck with your application
  13. Other than what's already been mentioned above if you could post a photo with just you that would be helpful in directing the advice.
  14. Welcome Michael and congratulations.
  15. Almost there Jesus. See you on the other side trooper
  16. Shim or no shim the notch should be located as shown in this illustration. If this is what you're shooting for then you're on the right track.
  17. This is awesome. Hey just a tip, it would look even more realistic if you used PET expandable braided sleeving. Just stuff it with some wires or foam and paint it silver. The original looks like stainless steel but obviously that would be overkill lol. Again great job
