  3. I actually heat bent the bottom bit on the front and sanded the sharp bit off. As for the rear, I trimmed the back bit out a little o allow me to bend my legs more. The cover strip on the rear will conceal the top edge misalignment perfectly. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  13. Hi Steve and welcome to your Expert Infantry review. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All photos are present and CRL requirements fulfilled, with that we would like to award you the Expert Infantry badge, Congratulations. This build is a credit to you, the paint job on the helmet is outstanding and the overall armor fit is beautiful, great job on the kidney shims as well. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Not much to adjust at all, shorten up the top shoulder bell straps so as the bells are virtually touching the bridges, and get that Centurion application in. We think with such a great build, that your blaster could do with a more accurate paint job and weathering. Gloss black on the grip, mat black barell, just a couple of those nuances, that give it the touch of realism. I'm sure with your eye for detail, this will come easy to you. Centurion Suggestions: As much as we try to spot everything that would affect an Centurion application, the ultimate accuracy is up to the trooper. Make sure those small side gaps between Ab and kidney are closed, and all required photos are submitted, and you will be Centurion in no time at all.
  14. Hi Shane. Thank you for the updated mods. With that, Congratulations and welcome to Centurion rank. Well done, Trooper, you look sensational!!
  15. Hi Shane, thank you for your applications, lets hop to it. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: Thanks for adding in the missing photos, and also making the Ab/Kidney alignment mod as requested by Gazmosis in your EIB application, great job!! Overall you have a really clean build, always pleasurable reviewing a well put together RS kit well done. Just a couple of minor things that we would like to see adjusted, and the Centurion badge will be yours. Any chance you can remove the paint from the cod rivet and butt snaps, and retake a photo of those please. Shorten up the top straps on your shoulder bells so the bells are almost if not touching the bridges, and also as your fellow troopers have pointed out, the drop boxes need to align with the end of the plastic ammo section of the belt. I think simply securing these with some Velcro will stop them from sliding in. Get the mods down and the photo's posted and Centurion is yours. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: A touch of black paint on the screw heads of your Thermal Det will be icing on the cake for accuracy and the 6mm Elastic around the shoulder bridges should sit towards the back plate as if to hold the bridge down to the plate, easy fix. Something I would also like to see you modify is the painted shape and size of the front right trap (as you are wearing it) on your helmet. Your left hand one is great, as it finishes right at the base of the indent, and has good corners. other side doesn't go to the edge and the top corners are quite rounded. Re painting and re edging it will make this just that touch more accurate, but well done on hand painting them in the first place. One last thing, if it is possible to wear your thigh armor a bit higher, it would reduce the amount of black area seen between them and the Ab/cod plate, and bring a more balanced look. Thank you for the quick modifications to your armor, and welcome to Centurion rank
