Sgt Carida's HSP R1 TK Build
Sly11 replied to TC5800's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Hi Wally Work is already taking place re writing the R1 CRL and it is in the 501s section atm so its visible to members for input. Please bare in mind the CRL was written before the movie was released so it was put together on limited information, display photos and at a time no one was making R1 armour, so you can forgive those that were desperate to get something together to troop asap. Who is HSP by the way? I have not heard of them before and am interested to know more. -
Lots of ABS goodness right there Chris, let the fun begin.

Reason its in the 501st area is we can only sell merch to 501st members as per the Operations protocol 501st member means you must have an approved costume and have been issued a TK/Legion ID number. Article IX: Merchandise and Branding 1. The 501st Legion is a club based on a copyrighted property and is not authorized to profit from the sales of merchandise bearing images or ideas from the STAR WARS property. 2. Merchandise or materials created to promote or advertise the 501st Legion (referred to herein as "merchandise") will be sold only to members of the 501st Legion and Rebel Legion and at cost. Merchandise is not to be sold to the general public unless authorized and be approved by Legion Command and Lucasfilm

Hi Paul and welcome to FISD.

Hi JP The top of your shoulder bells should almost, if not touch the shoulder bridges as in this image below. It should be a simple matter of adjusting or shortening your top bell straps.

You can’t go wrong with either kits to be honest. I went with an Un-trimmed kit as I wanted the full experience, but I am also lucky to have a local seamstress that makes excellent neck seal and holster. Ultimately it can also come down to how much time you have and how long you want your project to run. I built my AP from start to finish in under 2 weeks and that was my first build and I am still wearing it today, 6 year later:) Make the decision you feel most comfortable with and don’t look back. March to 1000 update and announcement. We are steadily approaching the big number, and actually even closer than any of us had realised. In a process of due diligence gmrhodes13 (Glen) spent many hours starting from EI approval 1, yep ground zero checking all the approved numbers. Well to his surprise he actually found two members that had been approved and not issued an approval number. The DO's, Glen and myself have been in discussion and done extra checks to verify Glens findings and he is absolutely correct. The two members who had been simply labeled as Approved, will now be given the next 2 numbers of approval taking us that little bit closer to 1000. Mark "humperdingle" TK22700 originally approved September 13th 2016. Approved (985) Daphne "Athenall" TK62317 originally approved October 7th 2016. Approved (986) We are officially now at 14 to go!
