  1. Yep 1 CRL with accessory options. it going to be a full gamut that's for sure.
  2. Can never have too many clamps . Your work is progressing very nicely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. As Joseph mentioned above, we try not to evolve CRL's dramatically unless they really require it. Some changes like words that don' make sense or minor oversights will get adjusted when brought to our attention and these happen in the background as they generally won't affect any approval. Larger items that do change the approvals are discussed with staff and members before they are made as an official change.
  4. Welcome aboard Christin! You have come to the right place. There are plenty of OCD, accuracy hungry members here to help you on this build journey you are about to embark on.
  5. Welcome to FISD Mathew! As you may now be aware through your early stages of research, we look after the original Incinerator trooper from the games. It has what is known as a CRL (Costume Reference library). Due to this, the Incinerator trooper from the Mandalorian will indeed fall under our charter. The most important element of starting a costume that is different or new is to have plenty of reference images from all sides of the costume you wish to recreate. Front, back, left and right sides at a minimum. Then you will require close up images to expose the finer details. Basically you need to show the detachment you have enough information to recreate the particular version of the costume and in-turn create the CRL for it as you build it. Now there are plenty of experienced members and staff here that can help you with the writing of the CRL, and yep you get credit for creating it legion wide, but the ground work is up to you. This is indeed a kick butt costume and I for one think its awesome that you want to build one so fear not, you wont be alone on this journey. I promise you it will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do. Considering we have a member who has very recently started working on creating a CRL for another variant storm trooper (from a game), please check out his research thread to get an idea on how and where to start. His enthusiasm and research is what drives him to make his dream a reality, so can yours be.
  6. I cant see screw in the ears from your images which heavily suggests RotJ helmet, the ears are glued on not screwed on as in ANH and ESB.
  7. I have seen the drafts and they are coming along. We may need to do a few quick CRL updates as have discovered a couple of minor discrepancies so this has been two fold effectively.
  8. We wont know until you are kitted up and posting an application thread, but if they are shiny and black, then they seem to fit the brief. Now you have your printer parts I expect to see some good progress over the weekend
  9. Hi Charlie, you can definitely do much better than an SDS helmet. Some of the armour makers who do helmet kits are. CFO (cast from original) AP ATA TM RS prop. All of these can be found in our vetted armorers list in the getting started section of our forums.
  10. Hi Danny, welcome aboard. Looks like you are getting some great advice already, and you are on your way. Enjoy the journey.
  11. You could rig up a switch under the front grip so when it folds down the light turns on.
  12. Welcome aboard Echota, some exciting times ahead of you. Hope you enjoy our forums and help.
  13. Currently under construction are Expert Infantry and Centurion visual guides for all our First order Troopers. Stay tuned folks.
  14. Ahh man devastating news to stifle your great progress. Hope your part turn up soon, hope you ordered a few of them.
  15. Hey Shawn, glad to see you are moving forward with this again, I look forward to seeing its completion.
  16. If the troopers are the same there would be a list of weapons that can be used to match the particular color Pauldrons.
  17. Ah I get you,I have trouble with the same parts myself.
  18. That what Zoom and Microsoft Teams apps can be used for to help out. You can see live video where people can help you with how everything sits and fits. We are here to assist in every way possible be it PM or Skype style video hook up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Can't wait to see you in this armour and approved Justin, looking real good. Plastic paint booth is a good idea, I get the feeling you wouldn't be satisfied with dust particles etc sticking on your final paint job after so much hard work.
