  1. Welcome aboard Monica We have most everything you need right here as far as rescources and information is concerned. Make sure you check out our new First Order section (link below) and ask plenty of questions. A build thread is a must and i can hardly wait to see you get started on this new costuming adventure. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/218-first-order-battle-group/
  2. Looking good Stephanie.
  3. Hi Don, Yeah tough times for many out there brother, but we will be hear for you when you can get back to it. I hope things start looking up for you soon. Stay safe and well.
  4. Any Ideas who's armour it's a recast of Mathias, I'll do a bit of research tomorrow myself see if we can work it out.
  5. Reducing the return edge as it appears you are doing will make it easier to reshape using the hot water bath method. Also that crack or snip is another way to bend the part in a particular spot. You can cut a v section from the return edge to emphasize the bend in that are, then simply reinforce and ABS past that area of return edge when satisfied. you can make a few v cuts in a line to make the curve gradual rather than so much in one specific spot in the same fashion they make a curve when bending timber or even metal work if that makes sense.
  6. Never heard of Grunt props before, at first i thought it was MTK. Hopefully someone chimes in that may know but it comes out of the US Phoenix by the looks, and could well be a recast. Those ear pulls are very soft in detail.
  7. Beard is escaping from under his helmet
  8. This is a nice resource but all images are Photo bucket water marked. Needs fixing.
  9. The last image of parts are for the forearms I believe. The picatinny rails are done in resin for sharpness and are glued on top of the same design on the ABS pulled section of the forearms, the smaller clip greebles are also for the forearms and attach to the sides. There should be a recess or outline for their location.
  10. Great to see this underway, and that you are using a build thread. It's always the group knowledge that you will find most helpful for your build so take your time and ask plenty of questions along the way
  11. Congratulations on your approval Andy and welcome to the 501st sir.
  12. Hey Jeff, not sure whats going on with your formatting in the first post but the link images are almost off the page, weird Did you copy and paste this in by chance? They need to be placed under the names rather than across the page. This could be a glitch but I haven't seen this one before.
  13. Does you thigh armour fit snugly to your thighs or is there some room to move? If there is room you could try some foam pieces on the inside of the outer thigh to pull the piece slightly away from the cod and your center line. You could also reduce the return edge around the top of the thighs st the same time and if possible drop them ever so slightly. This combination might just give you the little extra room you need to stop them from rubbing as much on the cod piece.
  14. Need someone who is interested in building it to start the CRL.
  15. Welcome aboard Cley.
  16. Next reveal at 15
  17. We have the PDF complete for this, Just removed them all from the planning thread and have add it to the post as a downloadable PDF version.
