  1. It's a typo - I'll get it corrected.
  2. Man - that's a steal for a great bucket!
  3. It was to be wookies - I remember the interview. However he said the problem was that he wanted the creatures to be primitive yet he had established through the films that Chewbacca was a very technical guy, so needed a race that wasn't so technical. E.g. low tech good wins over high tech bad.
  4. You're costume is looking really tight - how many can say they were the first? Awesome! For a CRL submission we'd need head to toe shots of you facing L, R, F, B, and side, and screen caps that show same angles.
  5. I'm not crossing fingers. You already look better than many Tk's in the Legion, so should be easy
  6. Nomex flight gloves work for even for Elite. I think we need to reword that so it's not confusing. Buy clamps. You're going to need lots of clamps Also, look in on the HOWTO threads for doing snaps/snap systems.
  7. The AP armor is great kit - kiyote in my garrison sports this and it's top notch. You'll be happy Kevin makes an excellent fan kit here - check out the commissary for his latest run.
  8. Yup - I'm 6'0" and have the same issue. I need to make the same mod on my suit as well. I saw a few other screen shots and most have them pretty far down. I guess for shorter folks though I can see moving it up a bit to look/fit correctly. BTW - love the correct tube stripes DD
  9. This is really exciting Andy! First the grappling hook, now the comlink? Sweetness for ANH Hero folks
  10. Any idea how much they weigh? I'll agree with Smitty - some HF products are really tight. The MG-34 is perhaps the best on the market IMHO. I used to think my E-11 was the shiz, but that was a few years ago. There are more detailed looking products now that are comparable in durability, which normally is a very sore point for resin weapons. The Cushman Lewis gun can be pimped to look really good too and weighs just a few pounds - perfect for parades or an event where you're worried about your beautiful HF or Woodchuck getting damaged/stolen. I dare say there are more options now then ever.
  11. Not sure this logic works. HWT's are TD, not TX. Is the TK carrying the DLT-19 on the Falcon "special"? Or the TK's with space packs? I'd say they're TK's with options.
  12. Can't wait! FX can be pimped out to look really good - just takes a wee bit of effort is all. Popcorn is standing by...
  13. 1. I think the laugh.gif needs to be an animated gif... it looks kinda awkward when the mouth doesnt move smile.gif. I know it came standard with the software, but thats one of the first things I changed. == Shoot me the image and I'll uploaded. 2. Second... We need a thumbsup in the side emoticon for easy access. I use that one alot smile.gif == Sorry it's not on the first screen, but it is there. I'll see if there is a way to make that happen. In the meantime personally I just memorize the bb codes for the ones I use a lot. This one is : d u i m : (remove spaces), e.g. 3. Some things seem a bit cluttered (not easy to navigate through). == Sorry, you need to be specific. 4. on some computers with standard moniters... The Header overlaps the bar underneath... so you cant access anything in that bar. == Again, please be specific. I've never had a problem with this, and I have what I consider a standard PC. 5. you sould get the thefisd.com domain... == Nope. Whitearmor.net is on all our merch, etc. It's pretty ingrained and I don't see the advantage of moving to a different one.
  14. Shaughnessy - Aloha brah! Welcome to FISD and can't wait to see your Elite application. Philipp - normally I ignore posts w/o a link but memories of Hawai'i have put me in a ohana spirit - membership upgraded!
  15. Sweet news! Yeah, keeping posting pix as you go I'd say go TK and then when it's all beat from trooping go TD, and then use your TM for the TK. Can you really have enough armor? TE2 & TM - man it's like...like...getting an F-14 AND and F-15 for your birthday.
  16. Eh - you doing a TK now? Jeez - we have Mike H. making us all feel bad already. ;-)
  17. That's just one place. There are a few other makers - you can check out the blaster forums and even the for sale areas for ideas.
  18. I'll be interest, the wife will not. ;-) If it's anything like the grappling hook...oh boy! (in a very good way)
  19. Yup. If stormtroopers can kick some rebel fleet troop butt, jawas, and moisture farmers - I don't think cute little teddy bears would hold up very well. Rebel pilots only did well in EU - in the movies it's the Imperials winning every time.
  20. He's a pedophile with an outstanding warrant for his arrest, in addition to blatantly recasting fan made items. I guess if you have no moral problem supporting a pedophile, sure send him money.
  21. Not really. Sometimes a troop is too far away, or maybe it's last minute. Or maybe no one has much interest. It's volunteer after all, there's no compulsion for folks to troop anything they don't want to. Also, maybe it's garrison preference. I've heard some that do tons of birthday parties, others pretty much none.
  22. Heard that as well. I forgot the full story though.
  23. w/o seeing I can't be sure but my best guess is no. Not at least w/o a bunch of modifications, if at all. This is why I'm suggesting it's best to see one in person if it is up to snuff before thinking about buying one.
  24. I'm hoping they'll invite me to be a beta tester.
