  1. Agreed - like RT he doesn't always respond right away but his product and integrity are top notch.
  2. I use dropbox as well, such as : http://www.getdropbox.com/gallery/102565/0/?h=ddf934 I like it because I don't have to upload anything. It's integrated in to a folder in My Documents and creates galleries, etc. on the fly, uploading new files in the background.
  3. Sweet!
  4. Thanks for the correction Terrell! Learn something new every day
  5. Awesome! Looks like you'll be done with the rest soon enough. How is that belt sander working out?
  6. Hi Mike, The next step is for us to compile the visual sources: I put a thread in this area for that purpose - guys please feel free to post pix! --------- Second is using this pix to update the CRL draft we started (add comments guys!) ------------- One we feel this is really tight Terrell on behalf the detachment will submit it to the LMO (Rhonda) for approval, along with your guys' costume pix.
  7. OK, here are the measurements of the left thigh: Max diameter near top: approx 26" (I was using a metal tape measure, so may be off a tad) - Length of front seam (strip): 15-1/2" - Length of back seam (strip): 9-5/8" Bottom hole: - max left to right: 6" - max front to back: 5-1/16" Top hole: - max left to right: 7-1/2" - max front to back: 9" The right thigh is a little smaller in diameter though the overall lengths are the same. I was able to glue both the front and back of the left thigh, but only the front of the right thigh. I'd have to shim perhaps 1/8" to be able to glue it - it's just velcro'd for now.
  8. Bryce has a pretty rocking RT build - probably one of the best I've seen on someone with that build. To him, you should listen
  9. What? The comlink? Oh my, I turned it off. Tonight promise!
  10. He's first class, all the way
  11. Dang - those are AWESOME! Even have the connecting tab on the butt plate. Man, clones have come a long way.
  12. IMHO, Kev's armor is the shiz of clones - better than C6 even. And, Kevin is a super guy as well. I think the number is about 108 hours start to finish. Yes, it's a lot of work but this is not specific to OSCS - all the clones just take time to do regardless of make.
  13. Have you talked to TK-4510 (Mike A.) yet? He's being doing the uber-accurate ANH & ESB ones. This would make a hat trick.
  14. Wow - what excellent attention to detail. Way to go Peter!
  15. Very well put together. You know it's one thing to read along on your site, but having a video clip is a more immersive experience. Even my wife liked looking at it (and that says a lot). Educational and also compelling to watch.
  16. We'd love to get some screen grabs and any other visual references you guys can find. I don't have the game, but if anyone does these would be mucho appreciated.
  17. Looking good! Note you'll need to put blue on the boots too. Has anyone gotten any screen grabs yet? That would be really useful to lock down some of the details. Certain things we haven't see are what the back looks like, and what really the ab section looks like. For this to become an approved costume we need to have that I believe. As far as weathered vs. un-weathered, I'd say for now either should be OK, though scuffs would be encouraged. I agree - the paint is starting to grow on me as well.
  18. What's not clear to me is if this was only on the mold used to make the stunt, or also on the hero. Wasn't there two molds made (at least) during production? I seem to remember there were.
  19. Yeah - sometimes it's the only way information percolates from "secrets among the few". Are you guys taking about the tear bump? Alas, something new to be learned every day.
  20. Woo-hoo - another TK Elite for Garrison Titan. Our number grows Now - need to figure out our next troop bro! Need to wait for an official word from Scott M. but I say it's an easy pass. EDIT: also I know you're officially re-activated so I'm updating your membership. Check out the nifty 501st only hot tub
  21. All set Tony! Adam - can you please send me an email from your hotmail - the one you're using for this forum doesn't match.
  22. Actually they're on track to be accepted. We just need a final CRL submission text & photos is all.
