  1. Wow - news to me and I'd love to get more details if true. Pretty much all makes scale well over 6'+ except the thighs/shins, which are the ones most in need of larger versions.
  2. Egads Pablo - you are the poster boy for TK's now. Simply beautiful.
  3. LOL - yeah, there's very little Titan representation here Guess that's why we have a TI chriping in ;-) Aaron's advice is straight on - most everything you can think to get is represented by a forum member, and if a forum member doesn't have the best deal at least we'll point you to the online resources that do (e.g. tkboots.com for boots).
  4. They're solid and made out of a rubber like material.
  5. Correct. Also, the unmodified Hasbro is still 501st OK AFAIK.
  6. Remember though that this poll is not entirely representative of the 501st or even the detachment as a whole. There are 1000+ TK's Legion wide and 200+ detachment members. These choices reflect those who are active forum members, which may skew to a higher bar than the Legion.
  7. Am posting here as they may not be noticed: 1) What brand of undersuit do you wear? http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=9425 2) What make is your blaster? http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=9477
  8. Poll added! Yeah, seems your observation is right - let's see how it pans out.
  9. It should be an easy 501st approval with that suit - you already look better than some in the Legion and the small fixes are somtimes allowed to pass as "signing notes". EIB will need those little tweaks though, but Vern you are so close it's not going to be rough at all. Others went EIB in 24 hours after getting their TKID from the 501st, you could easily do the same.
  10. Agree - you do such outstanding work. It doesn't get much better than this.
  11. Great reply - I added a poll to see what people choose.
  12. The CRL is correct. Note that the greeblies, etc. are under the "may have" section to allow for the promo blasters, but they are in no way required. Essentially the canon ESB E-11 is the same as ANH sans power cylinders on the mag & sans ammo counter.
  13. Wow - it went from great to Great-er! Thansk for the pix Billy - this is one goooooorgeus lid!
  14. One solution that took the guesswork out for me: when I sold armor overseas I took photos of the box as packed with address, and also of the post office (or UPS) receipt and email them on. A few photos for international would take all the guesswork out of it.
  15. Yup, this will certainly be one to watch. No pressure ;-)
  16. This is true for most garrisons and the new CRL. Many garrions grandfather their older members, so in some ways it is 501st acceptable as-is. That said, for $10 you can make it CRL compliant.
  17. The seller is a wanted pedophile who has a warrant for his arrest in Texas. Stay away. Try TKBoots.com, who is a reputable seller of accurate boots.
  18. Phenomenal helmets are actually made in HI. You should shop local when you can ;-)
  19. Well, we did not make 100 in 2009, but we got to 92 and that's a fantastic accomplishment. I'd like to thank and congratulate all the troopers who took up the gauntlet in 2009 and went EIB. My hat's off to you gentlemen!
  20. Pocohontos? Hardly - Poco went back to the UK with John and died soon after. Not a happy ending, really. And it's not quite Dances With Wolves either, though there are some good comparisons. I actually thought Weaver was just reprising her role a bit from Gorillas in the Mist. Lucas was a huge copy-cater. Look at any Kirosawa film - R2 and 3PO were inspired by The Hidden Fortress and were supposed to be the only two characters to be in all (planned) nine films. It's very much the Seven Samurai, and he borrowed from many archetypes. The Death Star trench borrowed heavily from The Damnbusters right down to some dialog. Sometimes it's not the originality of the story, it's how it's told. Everyone knew the story of Titanic too but it was a great movie. I mean, there are only so many "stories" after all. The best description I've heard was "it's the old cowboys and Indians story from the past, but this time the Indians win". Then again, we have no idea what happens afterwards. Perhaps they all die of a human cold.
  21. I would. Good times with the Japanese Garrison. I brought mine to China when I went there.
  22. Yup, on the right. 501st doesn't care either way for placement or mounting: this is just if you want EIB or even if not but want to be more than base 501st OK.
  23. I'd like to see some vetting first, but I'd say it could happen at the end of Jan possibly.
