  1. Yes - we moved over the image library and while i fixed some things others I missed. We're doing a final quality check on the new Home site (it's feature complete), so once that's done the old EIB page will be obsolete anyway.
  2. You look outstanding Gordon! That armor fits you perfectly. to #98. Also - why is your 501st nickname Pinkie?
  3. At some point. To be honest putting this together - even the basics - has taken a lot of hours to do right, and to do the entire site is just too much for the staff to do alone - it would take us all year given that we have families, day jobs, etc. My expectation is that we can get it a decent amount along, but sections like what your describing may probably be a result of both staff & membership working together. There are like 5 guys on staff, there are over 500 active members on FISD. It's just like the forums - each person contributes a little and the end result is more than any one person or small team can hope to create.
  4. It's almost ready.. Only two items left: 1) Add reference pictures to the ANH-Hero CRL 2) Final quality walkthrough I can't wait, myself --------
  5. Exactly! We're finalizing CRL pictures and need an actual person for a model. Volunteers wanted
  6. You've been helping out others so much recently, it's good to see you dusting this off and putting it to bed so to speak. Your customers can slide a week
  7. Hey Mark - do we have sizes on these?
  8. yes as far as the 501st & FISD are concerned, though ESB tears/traps are noted for being a tad bluer.
  9. We'd love to have you in Seattle (or even Portland, or Vancouver) too!
  10. Any comments? I'll let this run through the weekend then off to vote it goes.
  11. Another good part of this pix is that I've never seen it large enough to realize the bottles should be silver, not white. Dan - I think this is hose option #1. IIRC in a different screen shot it looks like the tube goes up under the helmet, and is smaller/more round.
  12. You as well Tom - you're my equal in post/day average
  13. Finally had a good event to dust off the space pack and get some photos with it. This was created by John Danter on these boards in the UKG. It's based off of screen caps and is a pretty good interpretation. With the advent of the action figure and hi-res screen shots, it will be interesting to see if anyone can top it. Still, John deserves full credit for being first to get this in to the realm of reality and that much closer to an approved accessory. Props also to TK4205 who did the build from the kit provided by John. Side Tracking the Falcon Detail of the back Side Angles It alters the adjustment of my back plate and I think the strapping can be better sorted to make it perfect, but I think it came out really well for a first real troop.
  14. Another milestone passed - I have more posts than my TKID. It's worth saying again that while having a lot of posts is great and all and in some cases can represent a huge body of work, it's not always the best yardstick. Even someone comparatively new can offer up exemplary service. A case in point is Jonathan aka ForlornHope. He only has 135 posts but by going the extra mile to get an excellent batch of Stormtrooper Commander screen caps and driving those requirements really helped push this costume home for FISD, and for that reason won a Service Award. This one item alone did more 1000s of "me too" and "congrats" posts. I like to think that while yes some of us do a lot, in the end the real strength and power of FISD is many people giving their time collectively to the betterment of the community.
  15. I now understand what a bromance is. I love you Peter
  16. The trade-off is that I don't really watch TV or pay video games, really. And, my armor building is ignored or outsourced. But with kids I never get more than 10-15 minutes here or there free time, which is conducive to keeping up with the boards but horrible for doing armor projects. I guess one follows their passion - right now mine is getting FISD firmly established to the dream I had almost 4 years ago. I think we're almost there.
  17. Thanks everyone! As Stukatrooper points out rightly, post count isn't everything. I try to do my best to create a place where *you* guys can feel welcome and exchange ideas. I'm glad I can be of service
  18. It's my honor to bestow it. It's always great to see more Stormtrooper Commanders in the detachment. You know, the honor of being first EIB TKC is still up for grabs ;-)
  19. Well, it's just not worth Noel's time fixing if it's all going to be upgraded in a week anyway.
  20. Wow - how awesome is this? Troopers helping troopers, indeed.
  21. Looks mighty good to me trooper! The only thing I see out of place is the hovi mike tips. These look like the default ones that come from AP and are not EIB OK. Don't know why AP doesn't put in the good stuff. Looks super sharp!
  22. OK, so I updated the CRL in the first post to match the screen shots. FWIW, here is the trooper that was LMO approved:
  23. Adding supplemental info: 1. This costume is now 501st approved. As such we'll surface this CRL for discussion and vote, starting today. 2. Additional shot
  24. Did you try posting that question on MEPD so the admins there know? (ducks behind cover) N'ol is on these boards and is the admin there now - you can also shoot him a PM.
