  1. Looks great!
  2. Yes, I would say it would.
  3. Lewis from SciFire is also offering hyperfirm ESB versions of the E-11, which as noted are just the same as ANH sans the power cylinders and magazine. If you are looking for ones that match the promo pictures, there are some that come up from time to time. Converting an ANH to the ESB promo is much harder as there are a lot of greeblies that are very hard to source.
  4. Matt & Francisco - you are all clear gentlemen. Francisco - please feel free to post pix of that Darth Revan
  5. Yes. It happens all the time.
  6. -- begin transmission Attention Troopers, Stormtrooper Command has determined that the FISD staff are gold bricking tasked to capacity with regards to the Academy project. As such they have, in their infinite wisdom, deemed fit to send in a senior Intelligence Officer to help restore order. Apparently the response of "we'll double our efforts" alone does not work well with Lord Vader, so adding staff was considered...prudent. Fortunately for the detachment, TK-2886 aka Pandatrooper has been assigned to this role. Terry brings a solid reputation as both a technical expert and also as someone who leads by example. His duties are defined as: 1) Having primary oversight of getting the Academy site tutorials completed, and once completed remain up to date. 2) As need and time dictates, promoting the coolest armor building techniques to the TIPS and HOWTO forum. 3) All other duties we can con him in to as assigned. Please join me in extending to Terry congratulations on his promotion. With unquestioned loyalty, Daetrin TK-8020 FISD Detachment Leader -- end transmission
  7. Woo-hoo! I guessed two correctly! Next guess is what you're going to make from them...my first guess is one will be a TK, the other a TD.
  8. Bump. Wow - no takers?
  9. Good catch - thanks! This is now fixed. Now all we need left is to add better visual references to the EIB.
  10. Completed. I also updated the formatting to be in harmony with how the CRL sites are done. OK, I'm taking a break...
  11. Done. Tomorrow I'll update the EIB standards as well.
  12. That's a should have for EIB, not a must have.
  13. So, is there consensus on there being two kits in the boxes? The next question to be answered is that is he going to do with them. The obvious answer is a TK & TD, but perhaps instead he's aiming for one suit to do ANH/ESB, and the second to be ROTJ. Thoughts?
  14. Outstanding. We're forming a raiding party for some consular ship Vader's taken an interest in. Head down to the hanger deck and take your place in formation
  15. Hi guys, I'm getting feedback that having a "base" set of requirements is a bit confusing to some. Since the reality is that the base stormtrooper is the ANH Stunt and all other troopers are really variations from that, I'm going to merge the Base & ANH Stunt CRL's and then update the others to reference that as a base. This will make it easier for GML's and new troopers alike. Please lmk if you have any heartache on this, as I'd like to get it done this week. Thanks, Paul
  16. I'll agree with TE2. There is a tracking number tag that is only on shipments within the US. Also, you can see the TE2 trooper on the mailing label. The real question is how many kits are in those boxes

    I'm in!

Sweet! Congrats Michale and please post more pix. Oh, and don't forget to bug Billy for full 501st access
  18. Shawn, you're correct on both counts: I'm wondering about the color and also, to date, you have the coolest use of the beret flash in a signature
  19. Vern is correct in the logic for the CRL recommendation & EIB requirements. However to be clear this is only if you are going for EIB. If you are not going for EIB it's just a recommendation. In either case, regardless how you troop is entirely up to you and the event coordinator. Happy trooping Brian * * And feel to post pix - I'm always curious to see how others hook this up.
  20. Just take a cheek swab and off to Kamino it goes - I hear they are quite good...
  21. Cheers! You know, if you ever need a bucket (or two) to use for installing prototypes, I believe I have a few laying around...---------
  22. Alas, you can't see the details, but here are his innards : -------------
  23. As promised: Work is that of Brian Sasaki, TD-2802, of Garrison Titan. This is in a TE2 helmet, btw:
  24. My garrison-mate has a full RomFX with aerator speakers and solved the feedback issue with blue tak, IIRC.
  25. Not perfect, but yeah I'd like to see them white before making a final call. I suspect they'll pass though.
