  1. Wee hee! Saw that come through and congratulations are in order I took the liberty of updating your forum status - the blast doors are now open for you. :tooper:
  2. I remember Wyatt (TK 4205 who did similar belts as you noted) also commenting to me offline that trying to get these white was a real PITA, and in the end it would probably be simpler to just paint. IOW, same advice as TM.
  3. Outstanding work Mason! I think the only thing I'd swap is the hoses for smaller sized TIE ones. Otherwise I think it's easily good enough for 501st base standards. You certainly turned this around fast - hope the LMO agrees!
  4. For EI you only need the E-11 if you don't have the flamethrower. You're covered there
  5. Yup, I'm still waiting on 1.5mm items as well. It's been awhile, so if you're not picky you may elect to get what he's got on hand.
  6. Holy smokes Joey - that's *brilliant*!!!
  7. Mark - Pete was asked by Terrell via PM. Nothing was copied w/o permission. It's amazing that the timing of the pictures coming down coincide exactly with FISD's request to cross-post, no?
  8. Very poor form Pete, poor form. How is making that gallery private in keeping with the spirt of Troopers Helping Troopers?
  9. If you wait for the images to cycle, you can see yours truly made it as one of the images. TE2 bucket built by TK4510 TE2 armor built by TK4205 ESB hand plates by John Danter Alas it's not Centurion but at least it's EIB It's a fantastic book - you can see the whole project at http://www.theblueprintsbook.com/
  10. Great! So when can we expect that you'll get it moved over? LMK and I can ensure Pete's name is on the thread.
  11. Hey Terrell - can you ping him to see if it would be OK for us to host the photos and re-create the tut here? Would be a shame should it be taken down some day.
  12. au contraire, mon frere http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=380
  13. The list on the first post only contains those sellers who have established their reputations for both quality and service over time. A few good build threads and some more positive feedback on his sales and it probably won't be that long.
  14. The only worry is price. With the exchange rate it's massively expensive compared to other makes. Wait times can be awhile too esp. if you're waiting on 1.5mm.
  15. It's the reality of SW costuming...
  16. It's the lower one near your wrist. Actually this is for Centurion only - not EI.
  17. Once the SkyTrooper is approved, then actually 1/2 the costumes we cover will be painted.
  18. Raise the thighs up a bit, add drop boxes, move closer so we can troop together sometime. j/k on the last, but I think it's looking good. I hope you plan to go EI at some point down the line. The paint on the chest & thighs don't look 100% symmetrical is the only thing I can really see.
  19. Yes, it did. I haven't owned a full set of ATA so really can't say. I've used an ATA ab plate to replace my old TE2 one and no one has noticed the difference yet. They are both HIPS, so you just spray paint to match.
  20. I used velcro too as you describe and had this issue at times. The solution (thanks TK4205!) was to take a length of neoprene and have it run the entire length, velcro'd at each end. As for sitting - I used to sit just fine in my old FX. Trust me if you're tired enough you'll find a way On the HIPS armor I've not been bold enough, though given how inexpensive a new one is I really should give it a shot. Sometimes the trick if you're sitting on a bus or deeper chair is to unsnap the thighs and let them rotate out a bit.
  21. I think this will be great to vote on in our next CRL updates. I know the back plate will come up as well - you should ping Brian (tkrestonva) when these are complete and we can do them in a single pass.
  22. Poorly sculpted ANH. This would be consistent with the TKC/ICN troopers which are very ROTJ on the body but with an ANH helmet & hands.
  23. There is no set deadline. It remains open until we find a good design. For colors...the FISD branding colors are infantry blue, white, gold, and of course black. That said, I think it can be OK to break beyond this - it would be our first ever large patch and the last we do for some time, so why not make it something special.
