I'm open to any of the web team who can tweak the CSS for Chrome. Personally I do not have it on any device.

All - given how many pains we've had with our existing skin I loaded a new one that should be defect free. You can see it by changing your skin on the bottom left of the page to FISD 2011. So far it tests correctly in IE7 and IE9, but there will be some CSS tweaks needed for IE8 & FF3.6. Also on our list is to change the red to blue - else we look too much like the SLD I'll be making this the default skin by the end of the month, so if you find any other items that need changing, please shout it out.

For the brow it's more the concern that it's overlapping the eyes, rather than being at the border above them. You can go as low as you want as long is there is no overlap.

Great to see other EI helping review EI threads You're correct that shoulder straps must free float in back are not EI required but most EI do them. However if you want to rock the Hero look then yes you'll need to remove the middle ear screw and also add two more fasteners to the holster. I'll agree that raising the brow a tad will help as well.

The price will be what the price will be. Either you as a buyer will find it worth it or not, and he is free to charge and much or little as he likes. GINO made beautiful helmets, but they were expensive and not overly troopable. ATA's aren't the most accurate, but he sells a bunch, and AM does a nice business in armor even being fan made. TM is the most expensive you can get, and yet he too is not hurting for sales. What it does provide is choice, and it will be great that people are allowed to have that choice, regardless of price. As for recasting - it will be inevitable only if we allow it to be so. Has anyone recasted TM for instance? Even the DIY crowd is not that stupid.

From what I can understand the thought on the bluish hue may be due to age or lighting. I think when they did a color comparison (would have to find the thread - where is Tom & Mike when you need them ) - the current thought is that it was probably due to those causes, so using the same grey as ANH should be fine too.

Your last post is pretty petty - you seem to feel it's fine when we mod posts you don't like but you get offended when the same is done to you, even when restored? Really - anything more than a small gap should be shimmed. It's pretty easy to do.

@Benji - agreed as best we can. Actually Kev's ANHv2.5 helmet is quite roomy and should be able to fit even the largest head. Also, I know of at least two plans to upsize a regular helmet to FX size for those that need it. I'd say that FX is depricated and on it's way out of the Legion anyway regardless of any proclamation, esp. as they are not made anymore. I think once an upsized accurate helmet is on the market it will entirely be a moot point. I remember that 5 years ago an out of the box FX was pretty normal and look where we are now. Give it time folks - and until then let's be supportive of our few brothers that have no other option.

Not quite. Per LMO the following changes are needed for 501st acceptance on the MRCE: 1) Replace lenses with darker ones 2) Fill in the seam just below the frown with caulk or similar 3) Replace the tube stripes 4) Add correct number of screws to the ears

Hey Dargas - I do remember indeed. Times change and armor evolves - can you believe we now have more EIB recipients that all but 4 garrisons have members? I think it just takes one or two people in each unit to show how easy it can be and then others realize - hey, that's not so bad is it? Centurion all the way brother - you'd be the first in the New World to earn that distinction

Congratulations Rob - you are the first UKG Centurion and have done a flawless execution. *And* you are the first non-TM Centurion. Leading the way on several fronts - you are truly deserving of the title Centurion
