WOW! This must have taken a while and some serious efforts to bring these up. Very nice. That selector lever and the front sight pin are stunning.

Good customer service for a good blaster kit. Quick question: when Chris @fieldmarshall uploaded the first pictures of the main receiver tube, I noticed relatively large welding seams on the flash guard and the ejector port guard. Do you think these can be trimmed or sanded down? Or would it become to fragile?
-
Ah, he finally did it. Great to see your build thread here, Simon. That is some serious progress right at the start. Hollowing the inside of the folding stock is not an easy task. Well done! And the first 3 aluminum pieces are installed.

TK-32294 Requesting ANH Stunt Centurion Status [ATA] (436)

Heads up David. Things like that can always happen - to everyone. I am sure Chris will be able to help with a new screw. In the end, the only bad thing will be the waiting time to get it shipped. But you have enough other work to do on this beautiful blaster, so keep the pictures coming.

TK-12762 Requesting ANH (Stunt) EIB Status [MTK] [919]
T-Jay replied to Henry Ng's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
You are looking good in this armor, Henry. Some serious strapping in there. You made a very clean submission. The only thing I noticed, is the helmet could sit a bit lower to your shoulders. Maybe you can remove/replace some padding inside to reduce the gap between helmet and shoulders. Keeping fingers crossed... -
Welcome to the white zone, Brian.

It is all secured with screws. See here for the magazine housing and here for the trigger housing.

Leave it grey and put a black R2 dome on top. Like the van from the Fanboys movie. Is that the gun rack we talked about? It looks good. You found an ideal way to display each blaster in a suitable manner. And if things change some day, you could even think about rotating it clockwise and it will still look cool. I love it.

Hi David, just got lost in your flickr-folders. What a nice collection. Wow. Now off to a great start with this outstanding blaster kit.
-
Good job Matt. That feels even better than BBB day, right?! Wishing you a lot of fun with that armor.
-
First of all: Congrats on your BBB day! Yes, each part is at the correct position. For the power cylinders on top, you can choose from aligning them parallel to the main receiver tube, or the magazine. You might want to have a look at the FISD E-11 Blaster Reference. That will answer this question and give you additional inspiration for your build. In the chapter #32 Downloads you will find the whole content as printable PDF.

Best ways to get a E-11 in NSW Australia?
T-Jay replied to Nada's topic in General Weapons Discussion
Would suggest to get in contact with your local garrison members to ask, where they got their blasters from. In case of kit builds, maybe an experienced member is willing to make one for you. -
TK 46165 requesting ANH Stunt EIB status [920]
T-Jay replied to Easy's topic in Request Expert Infantry Status
Good luck Dave. Erm, is there a cut in your brow, right above the eye? If so, you might be able to fix that simply by turning the inside out. -
Hi Riley, they also offer a RESIN M38 TANK SCOPE REPLICA which you could include in your order. For the T-tracks you can contact @Marv (not sure, if he still has some). If not, (or for a lower price) have a look at DoopyDoo's COMPLETE E-11 BLASTER KIT. This also comes with a resin Hengstler counter box.

Hi Brett, happy to see you started a build thread. The current setup looks very promising. Following... When I think of an operational folding stock, which also has to be light weight, the first thing in my mind is the kit from @fieldmarshall. Don't want to keep you from building your own stock, I was just not sure if you were aware of that option. You are based in the US, so even shipping would not be an issue. However, I would totally understand if your prefer to build your own and keep this option as a backup plan.

Hi Christopher, willkommen im FISD. Genau, erst mal 501st-Access beantragen, damit du mehr Zugriffsrechte bekommst und dann immer her mit den Fragen.
-
Congrats Sean. Have fun out there with your armor.
-
That sounds like a good plan. Ideally the top should be closed. If you later have enough leftover material from item #15 (ABS stripe), maybe you can cut a disc and just glue that to the rear end of the inner tube.
-
Great job so far. Can't wait to see a video of this blaster when everything is completed...
-
Hi Tina. Glad to see you starting a build thread here. Sounds like you ordered some cool stuff from Brian (@Bulldog44) and Chris (@themaninthesuitcase). This should make a nice blaster. This pvc tube is meant as a backfill behind the venting holes in the resin receiver. Just paint it black, slide it in and it will simulate your inner front barrel. No drilling required except for the spots where your scope rail and folding stock will lock in. You are on a good way. Keep the updates coming...
