  1. Is it finished? Did it look ok in the ads pictures? Was it really cheap?
  2. Blink. How much offline gameplay is there?
  3. Hit it with 800 grit, then glazing putty. Let dry. Rub surface with thumb or thumb part of palm. Re putty. Let dry. Light 800 grit. Holes should vanish.
  4. Armored cavalry. Hit up the main 501st.com website and find the detachment lists, ACD has the drivers for most imperial vehicles except tie pilots.
  5. Buy a smaller back from someone who needs a wider one.
  6. No rivets are level 3 I thought they were basic approval. Mines always had them. Shoulder bells do need the black elastic that goes around the biceps though. That is base approval. Lots of gmls miss it.
  7. I'm trying to imagine how the helmet sits on your shoulders. The shoulder strips sit on your collarbone and shoulders, yes? Not sitting above them somehow? Tilting it forward is just going to prevent looking left and right.
  8. If the armour didn't come with it the notch is no longer required. The crl hasn't been updated yet.
  9. Each application is separate and sometimes is reviewed by a different set of DO eyes. That's why some nice folks made all those checklists. It also helps prevent people from borrowing a proper blaster for EI and not having one for Centurion. And since a Hasbro modded blaster is OK for EI and not for Centurion all pics of the sterling based blaster should be new. That's why there's a note at the bottom of the picture list that says if crl items aren't clearly visible more pics may be asked for. Just helps approvals progress more quickly. The d ring isn't on the ei list I used either. And in my case my centurion blaster isn't the one I had for ei.
  10. And...I just noticed where the left side rivets are...I'd wait for clarification from the DOs but should they meet at a seam or be spaced that far apart across a shim?
  11. There seems to be a lot of space between butt and kidney plate. And I think the belt should be flat and not angled downwards. Is your cod pulled up as tight as it can ?
  12. use less padding in the top. you should be able to get your eyes dead centre of the bucket eyes.
  13. That's an awesome seam.
  14. They are both male but one has the wrong backing. The front has to be a rivet, you seem to have three snaps. I'd compare to other ei submissions and make them match. And try goo b gone or goof off to soften up the Velcro glue, or ice if it's e6000 to make the glue more brittle so it pops off.
  15. Easy way to tell...all the soft parts should be washable...fill a sink with hot water and soak each for ten minutes then hand wring out. Something will need. I throw a white towel into the bin and my dark parts on top.
  16. "black" cloth isn't black. It's always dark red, dark blue, or dark green. Either your cloth gloves are bleeding when sweaty, a foam or cloth padding in a storage bin is bleeding when damp from sweaty armour, the black material from undergarments, socks, neckseal , balaclava is bleeding. Just yesterday, for example, one of our at at drivers was trying to figure out what was staining his new grey jumpsuit yellow. Looked like random bleaching, but in straight lines and only on arms, legs, chest, random spots. He used mattress foam from Walmart to line his carry bin...same colour, and that foam isn't microfibre and very prone to colour transfer.
  17. 1- why would you make copies of something you already have? 2- why would you make more than one? 3-given that even making a back up for yourself is taking money out of the pocket of the person who's armour you copied, I'd call it recasting and sketchy. Personally I want five more pairs of ata shoulder bells to paint in fundraising colours / branding for the special events I always attend. But I'd never copy them. One of these days I'll get around to asking him to sell me give more set.
  18. Try to size them as they fit when pushed down over boots.
  19. I'd pad the rear of your thighs. From left and right there's a big difference in the clean straight line .
  20. There's not enough fotk chatter really.
  21. It's going to bleed under from the first coat anyway. If you have spare templates I'd remove everything, wash clean with mineral spirits , dry. Reapply templates, press into place, paint a coat of white and let dry. Then the correct blue a few coats after really stirring the blue paint well. If you don't have spare templates I'd just paint the right blue on top, let dry overnight, then remove all the masking and start cleaning with toothpicks and mineral spirits.
  22. I'm an extroverted introvert. I can and have existed alone for a while...and it comes down to the people around me. I tend to have a great skill at peacekeeping and yet a great skill for shucksstorm ...which autocorrect changed to agitator...fun...causing because I speak out. So I Jawa and tk and nobody cares what we say anyway ;-)
