  1. Now I will work on the thighs. Thighs were very difficult last time and I'm hoping I will be as lucky fitting these. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Work has stalled. But I have jumped back in and trimmed shins and glued them together Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I've noticed that by just following mould lines I'm left with a lot of return edge on some of these parts. The collar area will have to be trimmed. And the ab plate My MTK(centurion approved) has 10mm of return edge in these areas So I will do the same here. Also, going to clean up some other areas to get them a bit more uniform. 4. I try to glue the cover strips on up against the edge of this ridge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Cover strips, I'm doing the same measurements here as I did with the forearms(15mm). I suggest that you plan out how you will cut out cover strips as to utilize as much of your abs sheet as possible. Otherwise, you may end up with a sheet like this... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Progress on the forearms Now that these are glued I will move on to sanding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. When I left off I was putting a forearm together, it's getting there. One more bit of glue and it will be ready for extensive sanding at the elbow end return edge. While I was waiting on the glue I started trimming the bicep. Then I had a bit of a stabbing incident. Note, cut prof gloves DO NOT protect against stabs. I don't get a lot time in between work and children so I tend to rush things or forget to update the build thread. That's why we will now take a leap to all arm parts having been trimmed. Going to leave it there for tonight. I will need to do a lot of sanding and I'm waiting for CA glue, magnets and more clamps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. You're lucky it's only 9 months. My kit was an 11 month wait and I got it at 16. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Got some time tonight to continue working on this kit. So far, I've glued the halves of a forearm together on one side. While the E6000 dries I'll continue trimming the other bits. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. how long is your wait time? Mine was 11 months but went a little longer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. As far as children would let me get tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Welcome to my second build thread. This time around I will be putting an ATA together. I'm following the instructions UKSWRATH put up for his Anovos build and using whatever I can remember from my MTK build. I was able to achieve level 3 Centurion approval with the MTK so I will build for that with my ATA. I was able to pick up a helmet when I asked to get on the 11 month waitlist so I've already put that together. Here's the Big Brown Box Started the trimming the armor at the forearms. I've cut them down to where I want them. I'm putting 15mm cover strips on the arms so I've cut down to about 7.5mm on Botha's sides. Done for now. The next step will probably be to trim all the other pieces. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Did you replace the screws or nuts that came with the brackets? Mine seem shorter than yours. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
