  1. Main diferences are here in the CRL's http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_hero http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt Helmet is the main difference, Hero have 3 teeth per side, Stunt 4 teeth per side. I you you want to build a hero you have to either fill in the extra holes or heat and push them out. Also ears are different 3 bumps not 4 and screws retaining the ears have only 2 screws, stunt have 3. Bubble green lenses on the Hero and flat grean on the Stunt. I have my hero set up wit the grappling hook, box and comlink but this is not a requirement for basic approval, also hand plates are different but not a requirement. Holster attached with 4 rivets on Hero, only 2 with stunt. Make sure you spend some time researching each version, also study EIB and Centurion approvals for each as they go the extra mile in the details
  2. Good luck with the build, there are lots of NE threads on the forum to follow, remember the old saying measure twice and cut once
  3. From the maker, have a look in the getting started section, some armor makers will sell seperate pieces
  4. Awesome work loving the weathering, nice job keep it up
  5. Awesome build can't wait until you get started, good luck
  6. Satin black for me
  7. Nice work, looks like you have done some research, keep up the good job
  8. 8mm are just what you need
  9. Hi Darren if you first post a build thread you will get a lot more people post answers rather than aksing in an old thread . Secondly have a look through some of the other helmet build threads, seeing what others have done gives you a lot on insight into how pieces fit. Ears are the worst to make fit, take your time and sand a little at a time, less is more I never worried about the bolts inside at first I just trimmed them down so they didn't stick out too much, I now have a block of foam either side which covers the bolts, the foam stops the helmet from wobbling around. I aslo glued velcro on to the back of all my foam so I can take it out after sweatty troops and wash them. If you use the lense film there are lots of ways to keep it in, hot glue, tape, silicon, no one way is right, it's what ever you are good with, some don't trim the lens and put a full rectanle in, I use a firm lens, cut to suit the eyes and fitted with hot glue . Oh and a curvy straw may help your drinking problem
  10. Looking forward to the build
  11. I'm 6" and wear ATA, I have a little more gap around my knees and thighs but apart from that everything fits nicely. Don't worry too much you can adjust where needed to suit your frame
  12. Looking good so far, for mine I glued one outside strip first next the inside strip and then continue on the other side once it's dried. Some times a little heat can be helpful just to tweak pieced so they sit right.
  13. Another great read, thanks all
  14. sorry to hear the news, I hope things get better for you, as to a helmet you could try Scootch he does one or there is ATA, contact details can be found here
  15. Looking good, I would bring your thighs up a little and also shortend the gap on your shoulder bells, good luck on approval
  16. You can download Pandatroopers templates here, I think they have been fixed, originaly 19mm wide, should be 16mm or get them from Trooperbay
  17. You can just trim the stripes to fit, the CRL states "Tube stripes are medium blue, numbering between 9 and 16 per side with the curve bends extending backwards". I can't find it in the CRL but I am sure you need to paint your screws, you could always change back to unpainted ones later Don't forget tube tripes are placed a pencil width from the side of the helmet
  18. Awesome news, take a deep breath and don't rush into it, research first and remember the old saying measure twice cut once , good luck will be watching your build thread
  19. I'm using a battery pack from remote control cars, nice and flat and lasts a lot longer than the 9v batteries
  20. Congrats and welcome to the double centurion club (your not the first btw lol) Some forums allow the UK shoulder decals. The Pathfinders (biker forum) do not allow the UK shoulder bell decals for their L2 approvals
