  1. The objective i believe was for a more screen accurate look, the helmets used in ANH were painted and some can be seen with chips. A few have come up at auction over the years and you can see the chips and wear. Some good pics here http://www.starwarshelmets.com/original-stormtrooper-comparisons.htm
  2. I have seen just about every type of screw used, even rivets, from what I have read and believe to be true the screen accurate screws were black, domed and slotted
  3. No you just have to trim to fit. On screen versions they had gaps but most try for s nice tight finish. Ears take a lot of sanding and trimming to get right. Have a look at some of the helmet building threads to compare.
  4. Very cool troop, some nice photos, thanks for sharing
  5. Looking good Jeremy, best of luck with approval, hope it won't be long until we see and EIB application
  6. Very cool be watching you put it all together, good luck, btw the panic should have set in right about NOW lol
  7. Could paint grey to the edges top and bottom of your frown, would look better
  8. We are trying to get some sizing for TK boots at the moment, Jenny has measurements of her size 7's in this thread http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22622-tkboots-sizing-solution/
  9. Final adjustments are a pain, just after you think it is all finished, shouldn't be too hard to mod. Nice work there Jenny, good luck for your partners approval
  10. I trimmed the top of my ab edge to 5mm and the chest piece I left about 10mm on the bottom edge, some trim off more. I used a bit of heat on the sides of the shins while holding them close to relieve the springing out, the trick while putting them on is to open them and guide them over you ankle, your foot doesn't go through them. In the picture above I glued the front velcro to the blue cover strip, this allows those with larger calves to have a bigger cover strip
  11. No probs Sam, if I am not sure about something I like to check too, sometimes I just head straight to approved EIB's and Centurion threads as you know they made it through so you should be fine. Once you get over a few initial building problems I am sure you will move along nicely
  12. Looking good, some examples in the EIB thread from Dday may be good to compare http://www.whitearmo...ib-statustm283/ Another EIB thread with triangle back pieces http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22541-tk-11038-requesting-anh-hero-eib-status-tm4th/
  13. Think Minuteman got there first http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/22825-tk-18793-requesting-anh-stunt-eib-status-am/
