  1. Hi all While im sorting some photos, which I will publish as promised, I'll try one more time in here to demonstrate that my Helmet is not a recast, as to be honest I've been a little offended by some of the comments and some attitudes. I've attached an image on the next post. Deleted: Sorry folks, this post is down, as there appears to be a member in here following me about and causing trouble. I'll leave the pics up, but tbh, i doubt ill be back in here, im just cannot be bothered with it all. I heard that FISD was a great place to get help on builds, but all it turns out is people have ignored the obvious and wish to cause trouble. oh well!
  2. Hi all Id be happy to put something together, history that I know of the helmet, photo's etc in the near future and make it available.
  3. Hi Guys Just thought I'd drop by and say hello, one of my customers found this post. My Helmets aren't recasts. They came from a badly damaged original helmet which I have painstakingly re-sculpted and restored over a six month period, and are still working on it now. They aren't copies of anyone's work, just to put the record straight for you all. I am a time served Artist, and fully respect the work of other people, and hope one day nobody copies mine. People tend to think that 'recasters' do this for a bit of quick easy money... well my recommendation to such people if you wish to do it properly is choose another trade, as the amount of effort needed isn't quick, and it certainly isn't easy building these helmets day in day out, as I'm sure you are all aware. I don't tout for business in any of the forums, and never will, I work through my site and a couple of ads on ebay, so I understand the comments and confusion about these mystery lids that have turned up. I just thought I'd shed a little light on the subject for you all. Keep up the good work! Mac
  4. Hi all, been looking round here to no avail!, need to find a reliable neat method of hand painting the tube strips on my ANH 2mm helmets. Im sure ive seen them somewhere, you literally stick them on and paint into the gaps. Also, any idea how long these last, one, two paints? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
  5. just figuring out this profile...

  6. Starting a TD build too... in the same boat as you! just got my sandy helmet, so getting there finally!
