  1. I like the textured up side but it's all personal taste
  2. Looking good, I got mine from Bunnings
  3. I had seen this photo, it shoes the rebel blaster but if you look on the box it is showing a standard E-11 in the top right, don't panic yet -------
  4. Looking good, just one thing, I believe the power cylinders should run inline with the barrel
  5. I know it's only a mm but ATA specify 16mm for the front of arms
  6. Have you made sure your ears are high enough up the cheek, do they meet with the top corner of your s trim?
  7. Nice find, why the long face LOL
  8. Very nice
  9. Nice work so far. Just keep an eye on the bolts when you troop, two fellow members who troop hard have been splinting their armor between the bolts, we have just convert one to the snap and elastic method. All depends how much of a hard time you give your armor, if you treat it carefully you should be fine
  10. I use a heat gun, others just sit the abs in boiling water, even the oven method will work, just make sure you keep checking to see if it bends, there's a fine line between softening abs to melting abs, like most things undertaken for the first time, try which ever method with some scrap abs first
  11. Coming along nicely, keep up the good work
  12. Congrats and welcome aboard
  13. I would stick with the E6000, at least that gives you the ability to remove the straps if needed
  14. Very impressive, takes me back to the 70's, Disco Trooper lol
  15. Looking good, the ears should cover the sides were they join, s trim will meet up with the top of the ear, depending were the ears sit you may end up with a slight gap between the ear and s trim, see how you go
  16. Looking good, not much longer
  17. Congrats and welcome to the ranks
  18. Congrats and welcome to the ranks
  19. That's what I like to see, no panic, just get straight to cutting
  20. Congrats and welcome to the ranks
  21. There's a few different ways to add sound, from the high end it would be an arduino build, down to a $5 toy blaster, both work well it just depends how screen like you want it to sound. For lights the arduino allows quite a nice bank of lights, also a graph for ammunition level, at the cheap and easy end you can just add a high bright LED, one side comes from the battery the other goes to the switch. A nice trick it to fit an output jack to your speaker so you can run a cable to your amp, really pumps out the sound
