  1. Yes, but with the glass eye in the front socket (and not a button)! It was nice to see a real Graflex beeing used as opposed to the not so good looking chromed look alike anakin saber in Ep III.
  2. I love that last picture. No need for helmet padding and chin straps when you're sporting hairstyles like that. :-)
  3. Oh, I did not realize you already bought the armor. I hope I did not sound too harsh. You say you wish you found this forum a couple of months ago. I understand that, but look on the bright side. You have now found it and the people on this site will probably be your best resource to get your armor up to spec. :-) There are som things that have to be done if you want to get it approved. I am no expert but I see a couple of things: - You need to change the plastic belt with one made of canvas - You need drop-boxes and a holster added to your belt - You seem to be missing the ammo pack on the right thigh - You also seem to be missing the sniper plate on the left shin - You must paint your abdomen buttons It looks like you have no strapping system. Maybe that's why you have no shoulder bells in the picture.
  4. If you want to get yourself some armor I advice you to just forget about FX and look into the different armor suggested on this forum. You can get so much better than FX nowdays. Even though you can get FX armor approved with a different helmet and some modification, you would probably feel uncool when you show up on a troop and all the other TKs sports much more accurate and nice looking armor. You can have a look at this picture. It's a comparison of me wearing a somewhat modified jedirobe suit (FX recast) and my AP armor. It's a big difference! http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26672-armor-comparison-pictures-ap-vs-jedi-robe/
  5. Thanks guys. I'll add some glue then. Gazimos: It was attached with a small flat slot headed cuntersunk screw painted white with a small nut on the inside. It worked well and was nearly visible. I got through basic approval with it and I have trooped many times with it. I would have left it if it wasn't for the EIB requirements.
  6. I'm in the process of trying to get my armor (AP) EIB approved. I just have a couple of issues left, I hope. My sniper plate has been attached with small bolts and nuts. I have a new plate I can fasten with glue. My issue is that when I place it where I think I must glue it down it has an angle to the outside. From both sides it looks good. But looking at it from the front you can see it is not pointing straight up. Will this ruin my EIB application? I cannot se how I can fix it, but I welcome suggestions. I've attached a few photos to show you.
  7. Looking good! I think I see the shadow of Vader trying to force choke you in your pictures.

  9. Thank you! Actually there's two pairs of boots. Only slight difference. The JR armor seller had switched the orignal elvis boots. Locitus: I sent you a pm.
  10. As many others I fell for a jedi robe armor ad selling it as the real deal. I have said enough about that in previous topics. Now I have aquired an AP suit I have made to fit myself. I sent application photos to my local garrison last thursday. I'm still waiting for the answer. I sure hope for good news this time. While waiting I'll share a couple of pictures for comparison. One is of me in jedi robe armor and the other is one of the photos I sent for approval. You can guess which is which.
  11. I enjoyed it. Nice costumes. And what a thrill to have the opertunity to play araound Lars' homestead!
  12. I'm no expert but I think your holster straps are too long. They shoud also be fastened on the other side of your belt. Between your armor and the belt. Good luck!
