  1. I like the strapping and especially the double snaps, much safer if one lets go you still have another in its place, I use this on my arms as well
  2. They are what I used too, if you hold the dremel and rest it against a surface you can really get a nice straight cut, never had to fix any of my cuts and the disc last for ages with only cutting ABS
  3. Black silicon has worked for me, flexible and have not failed as yet
  4. The only thing I would say, which is an ATA problem, is the right forearm look really wide, I corrected mine by heating both sides and applying a little pressure to bring them in more of an oval shape like the left side. This should be ok for basic approval but if you aim higher it will be picked on. Apart from that I can't see much else wrong, you have done a really nice build there, good luck with your application, fingers crossed it doesnt' take too long
  5. The rivet usually goes in the corner too, about 10mm in from the top and side. This shouldn't be a problem for basic approval but if you want to go for EIB or Centurion I would suggest moving the rivet.
  6. very nice I have one of these on my build list.
  7. Looking good but I would still suggest to bring your thighs up just looks too snug at your knees, you could move your TD clips to closer to the end caps. That being said it should not hold you up for basic approval, good luck hope to hear some good news soon
  8. Can't wait to see the first cut, good luck with the build
  9. They just look dark in the photo's. You will still have to do something with your tube stripes they are too large, too few and too far down on your cheeks, there should be a pencil width from the cheek. You can see the differences below.
  10. I use a tapered stepped drill bit, it's not as fierce as a normal drill bit, just make a small guide hole first, gently does it the more you rush the more you will stuff a hole up. Good luck
  11. Congrats BJ I also missed your thread, one thing you could try is bring your thighs up slightly and rotate them so you have a bit more room around your knees. Nice work as always, well done
  12. Last one from me, thanks everyone that has jumped on board with your best of the worst photos Well done my sides still hurt from laughing
  13. Looking good, even the small work adds up in the end, shouldn't be too much longer
  14. Just a few things at a glance, you could either bring your biceps down or your forearms up, there is a bit of a gap there. Now tube stripes, look too large, too few stripes, too far down on your cheeks and the blue in the photos look too dark. TD clips as stated look too narrow and also should be closer to the end caps, also the canister color looks a little weird. Seems on your boots do look a little weird too. Not hard things to fix so shouldn't take too long.
  15. Hey Kevin there are never any silly questions on silly mistakes, when in doubt ask, that's what we are here for
  16. Looks pretty much the same only takes longer to dry, just have to clamp bits a bit longer
  17. I used double snaps on elastic straps which I made with adjusters, makes it easy to get the fit just right, and you can tighten once you have been trooping for a while. Gaps on legs looks great, well done
  18. I don't think it looks too bad, you could fix it up with a little automotive bondo . Build is coming along nicely, could add some thread and a nut to both of the code cylinders to make them look real sweet. Keep up the good work
