  1. Looking good so far, just watch those brackets for the elastic on your bells, they may interfere with you biceps
  2. You're first ever cut of new armor can be very scary, it's not until you have taken the journey that you realise what was all the fuss about.
  3. I think we still have the winner, Jabba the Bucket
  4. I used a satin black for the vocoder, and a gloss black for the lines and edging on the lid
  5. Looking good, just a few tweaks and you nearly there
  6. Go to a nail salon, I am sure they would let you have some, just flex your muscles a few times and wink
  7. Nice work, looked like an awesome day, yes we all like ballons
  8. It's more how the guards fit over you gloves, not gloves to your forearm. I place my handguards just over my knuckles, because I used the silicon the guards can flex with the knuckles bending, on the screen accurate gloves you can see images where the left glue from this section and they just stick out when the knuckles are bent .
  9. Some info in this thread here
  10. Now that you have posted a close up of your lid you could clean up the black lines a little, wouldn't take much and would really make a big difference to the overall look
  11. Can't wait to see the updates, do a little research as there are some quite good mods you can do to these kits
  12. Be nice to see approved Hero's actually wearing grappling boxes for a change
  13. I wish you good luck, mine is still on hold doing a tusken workshop for 12 and have orders for 5 Merr- Sonn blasters over at IOC so going to be busy for a little longer lol. I have to stop saying yes to helping people, nah you no I can't
  14. Very nice, you could also add a retractable id tag cable for realistic throwing
  15. E6000 is normally used, yes it takes a while to dry but it is a very forgiving glue and can be removed by rubbing your thumb across it. Zap and super glues are an instant cure glue but can create some heat and also blemish abs, not as strong as E6000 either.
  16. Congrats on your first troop, are you using snaps to hold our belt in position, if not this would make a lot of difference, there are some tutorials on how to fit them, just do a search
  17. Nice looking bucket only problem is you have added the tube stripes too low down, they should be a pencil width from the cheek, this may pass basic but not EIB and Centurion
  18. I like the strapping and especially the double snaps, much safer if one lets go you still have another in its place, I use this on my arms as well
  19. They are what I used too, if you hold the dremel and rest it against a surface you can really get a nice straight cut, never had to fix any of my cuts and the disc last for ages with only cutting ABS
