  1. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper
  2. Awesome news, love a brown box delivery, measure twice and cut once
  3. Congrats brother and welcome to the ranks
  4. Mounted mine to some angles of abs plastic, attached to some rubber grommets on the back of the mic tips, the rubber softens the noise
  5. Most of the builds I have seen leave the raised section as the minimum strip size, to make the forearms match each other a little heat can be applied to make them more oval, this reduces the width a little
  6. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper

  10. Congrats to the 2015 FISD staff!
  11. Hi Tomas the legion does a few blood drives a year, I am organising the first blood bank drive in my squad this year on June 14th, I am finding only a small amount of the squad is prepared to donate blood but I have organised with the manager to have other troopers attend and do some promotion for future blood drives. We are able to link our blood donations on their register to show how many troopers have donated across Australia and how many lives they have saved, which is pretty cool. Here is some info for you https://www.facebook.com/worldblooddrivehttp://www.worldblooddrive.org/. Good luck
  12. Looks like things are coming together nicely. I've seen a few engraving and colouring threads around, some come out really well.
  13. I have a gap, maybe not quite as big but you can only go as small as to fit your hand through. I put a little piece of foam inside to keep it from moving around
  14. Just move your snaps forward on your shoulder straps, keeps mine facing forward
  15. The helmets are lop sided, you find you have more material on one side compared to the other, also depends how you have fitted it together, it can change once you mount your ears on too. Always good to share pics of any problems so we can see what is going on
  16. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper
  17. Congrats and welcome to the ranks trooper
  18. Coming along nicely, just a couple of tweaks
  19. Always good to use double snaps too just in case one fails
  20. Hey Sebastien, I managed to convert an ATA to hero, a little bit of heat, some sanding and polish, you can also get hero ears form ATA, then it's just bubble lenses and some Dave M decals http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/23694-hero-bucket-build/
  21. I've seen them used on straight printed decals to make them look hand painted
  22. Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks
  23. I didn't have any foam handy so just laid out some cardboard, measured the sides then folded and held together with tape, fits in snugly
