  1. I've had a few fail from different makers, I came up with this to help them hold http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28934-howto-make-snaps-hold/?hl=snaps
  2. Have you tried looking for a Perspex supplier near by, I managed to find some dark grey Perspex before.
  3. I used Dave M decals on my ATA's from trooperbay
  4. Congrats and good luck with the build
  5. Hand plates can also be different and neck seal if you want to go the whole way
  6. A major discussion has been held here and on the main boards, they do use TK a couple of times in the movie so the word is it's staying TK for now http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/33021-tfa-trooper-designation/page-1
  7. Hello and welcome aboard
  8. Always remember measure twice and cut once, when in doubt either refer back to the CRL's or post a question, there are no silly questions, only silly mistakes . Good luck with the build
  9. Great news, now lets get trimming
  10. Looking forward to the build
  11. E6000 takes a good 24hours to dry and is then strong, at least it allows you to take pieces apart again if you make a mistake, other quick dry glues don't .
  12. Looking forward to the progress, I have heard of a couple of people attempting the builds but have not seen one finished as yet.
  13. Try to get the bottom ridges of your thighs trimmed to match as these won't get covered by cover strips, you don't want a gap between them
  14. Coming along nicely. A good tutorial on how to add images into your post http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/tutorials/article/48-posting-images-in-threads-2015/
  15. Looks like your shins could come down a little on the boots, also looks as if your ab/cod is sitting low, if you could bring this up it would allow your thighs to come up a little more too. I don't have a lot of bend in my knees but doesn't really bother me
  16. Definitely a lighter blue than French blue
  17. Tube stripe decals came with the helmet
  18. Finished quite a while ago. Added some foam, fans and wore it for fun at one of our conventions
  19. Can it be fixed, really depends on your experience, if it's plastic you could I would (but be careful, if not experienced test on other plastic first) heat the area from the inside and use a rubber block either side and push it together, this may straighten it. If you aren't that experienced with heating plastic, I would sand the area, fill with bondo (auto filler), sand, primer and paint the whole front piece.
  20. First cut is always the hardest, looking forward to the progress, good luck
  21. Looking forward to the progress, remember research is the key, measure twice and cut once, good luck
  22. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20999-howto-make-snap-plates-3-different-ways/?hl=snaps
  23. A couple of good How Too's for ears, good luck http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29238-my-helmet-ear-tutorial/ http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27375-howto-draw-an-approximate-ear-trim-line-with-no-gaps/
  24. Pretty much, one size fits all
