  1. I found this useful for snaps http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28934-howto-make-snaps-hold/?hl=snaps
  2. Yes they are my own, measurements taken from screen shots and Hot Toys figure. They may not be 100% accurate as there aren't many screen shots, but will do me for now until more are posted or found.
  3. Pretty much the same, wouldn't get me out in a crowd unless in armor, I don't wrangle or wear non helmeted costumes, if I don't have a bucket on I just don't go out.
  4. Time to add some more options for my FOTK, time for a vest build. There are a few difference between screen shots and some of the Hot Toys photos which I'll try to replicate Started by enlarging some screen shots on the computer to get rough dimensions and make templates. Transfer template to cardboard Templates of pouch pieces Cut out material Start assembling pouches and add velcro to back pieces to attach Centre pouches Top pouches Add adhesive paper for strength on back sections then sew together Working velcro spacing Velcro added Pouches attached
  5. Post here for 501st upgrade http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/
  6. Really depends how bad they are. I have used a white filler polish for some scratches, a buffing compound for others, sometimes if the chip is small I use a toothpick and touch up paint, if larger I use a paint brush. For a couple of really bad scuffs on the cod section I decided to sand and repaint the whole piece. Sometimes you will find it is better to paint a whole section rather than trying to touch up, especially when using a spray can, you will normally find drying on the outside areas that you are trying to touch up and it really doesn't match well.
  7. Coming along nicely, I find small hand files a great help for the corners of the teeth.
  8. There is this product https://www.smooth-on.com/product-line/xtc-3d/. I find a sand then a couple of coats of spray putty will get rid of most of the lines.
  9. Just the way it is
  10. I made a towel bag, just folded a towel, stitched up one side and added a Velcro flap on the top.
  11. Could be helpful http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26383-cap-tk-armor-kit-on-ebay/ http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27025-cap-ebay-armor-set/
  12. Looking forward to the BBB photos and the build progress
  13. Looks like a lot of work to get from the cut up pieces of paper and glue them together stage to the finished approvable armor stage. You would need to strengthen all the pieces, cover with fibreglass and bondo, sand, prime and paint.
  14. Congrats trooper and welcome to the ranks
  15. Looking good so far, good luck with the build
  16. Looking good, I found using satin black on the trim and vocoder made it look more cartoonish http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29365-rebels-stormtrooper-helmet/
  17. A great deal of work, looking forward to the progress, good luck
